Best/Worst Areas?

I'm sorry if this is frowned upon, I don't have access to the provider only boards...

What areas are the best to stay in NYC? I'll be flying in, but am not familiar enough with the area to just book something by the airport or anything like that.

The UN area is becoming popular for providers too.  

The "airport" would put you in Queens or Brooklyn.
Not the best places for business.  

I can pm specific suggestions once you've narrowed it down.

If you are not familar with the City, you should understand that New York consists of five boroughs, but the clients will overwhelmingly be in Manhattan.   The airports are very far from midtown Manhattan. Overall midtown is best, either East or West Side.  If you are more adventurous, you can also consider new hotels which are cropping up downtown, in the Lower East Side and the Meat Packing district, but you should  get a sense of the neighborhoods before you book.  You should check out the rates for your travel dates before commit to actual dates, because at certain times hotel rates can skyrocket.  Enjoy New York.
