... would be why not do both? A lot of my photoshoots that have been booked were for both indoors and outdoors. Although it might take a little more time commitment, it's usually worth it because of the different variety of looks you can get from both the attire and backdrop.

Maybe consider adding the CA Central Coast/SF Bay area to your travels. We have amazing beaches and coastal areas too. :P

And you're absolutely right about being sexy doesn't necessarily mean less clothing.

I don’t love the outdoor shoots, with some exceptions, like a beach. I do like in front of ceiling to floor windows, however.

Btw,  love how much thought you put into your shots!  So I'm sure  they will come out gorgeous!  
I think if you are going to do a more classier photoshoot (in which it sounds like),  than to do a more classier setting.  
Leave the beaches for the lovely half naked ladies.  
I did a shoot that was more designed for business attire and rented a high end loft.  You could do shoots in the kitchen and ext.  (Although the oven one has been done millions of times , I think it still looks hot)  
Since it seems you like indoor|outdoor shoots maybe rent a nice beachy place with indoor \outdoor setting,  maybe one that has a deck overlooking beaches or a city view
