Any and all frustrating interactions with TER concerning reviews and/or problem reports have always been resolved. Usually, the resolution is quick (within 2-3 days at most).
On one rare occasion, I have had to wait as long as two weeks to get an "inconsistent' review issue resolved. And after waiting all that time, the review was finally approved in its original format.
TER is generally responsive to its membership. Sometimes it's easier than others.
Hang in there and be persistent!

I recently submitted a review of a Provider.  For the first time I received a message back - "Disapproved" with the reason being "Incomplete."  I looked over the review and did not see any missing information.  I corrected the format of the phone number (this agency had no phone number so I followed the instructions and filled in (555) 555-1212) and resubmitted the review.  Same result.

The frustrating part is that I have not been given any information about what was "Incomplete" about my review.  If you are not told this information, how do you correct the problem?  I have tried to send a message to the powers that be to see what the problem is with my review.  I will let everyone know if I ever receive a response.

I had the same problem with a review marked inconsistent.  I finally gave up after re-writing it twice.  They do not help very  much if they just want to disapprove.

Mine said "Incomplete."   So I figured I could go and check to see what I might have omitted that was "required."  As far as I could tell the answer was "nothing."

I've had this problem before. If you email staff using the form in the VIP section and ask them specifically what the problem was they will tell you. At least that's been my experience. I have never found them to not answer a question regarding a submitted review. I'd suggest you try again.

lawyer your not the only one who has submitted a review on a provider to not have it posted.

[email protected]. They should give you some type of response.

Did you happen to notice if it is a delisted provider or agency that you reviwed? This will cause you to get a disapproved response.

I would also suggest making sure that you have enough information for your general details & juicy details. I have had reviews go unapproved because I did not have enough details. Good Luck in getting your review approved!

Turns out I listed on my review the official web site for the Agency (French Courtesans) instead of the link on the Profile which is to an ad on SoCalFinestEscourts.  Go figure.

The same thing happened to me, but a message popped up from the beginning telling me the web site was no good.   Maybe you missed that the first time through

The review process but Ex is right. Hang in there. Stand by what you wrote especially if it is accurate. I have had people submit reviews to be approved and not approved or had to wait.
No matter what hang in there because the info is always good...for all of us!

Thanks for sharing...this is an on-going conversation we are having. Expressing the problems, as I see it, is helpful to all of us and hopefully the staff, as it were.

Excellent responses, but as a person who always looks for the worm in the apple, do any of you think that TER intentionally makes submitting reviews difficult? In other words, do you think they may make submitters jump throught hoops in the hope that those who do will tire of the process and just say "fuck it?"

I personally don't care about the ten bucks credit on my VIP membership, but, TER is national and I'm assuming that they're in this for a profit. Let's say hypothetically that TER rejects 500 reviews a month. If 20% of those reviewers never follow through on their rejections, that's a grand in TER's pocket.

Just food for thought! Anyone else care to weigh in on this?

I actually asked Staff about the whole jumping through hoops process of submitting a review.  They said that they want to make the process take a few minutes to discourage fake reviewers and the like (this is originally in reference to a link on a provider's page to facilitate reviews).  However, on this issue, I would think that frustrating legitimate posters would eventually hurt their bottom line, no?

I agree with that as well. I know that there are many fake and real reviews submitted.
I guess I do have a question about this.
How does one deal with that issue of a fake review? Even if it is one's favor. I had that happen and had to address it to be taken down because it was not me. It was a great review and she more than deserved it but not something I should be credited for surely.
I felt it was wrong to have it connected with me. Eventually it was resolved but I do not think it was ever added to her reviews. What is one to do in this case?
Gee, you know I want to be fair but I would hate for someone to loose a great review in the middle of it as well.
Any thoughts?

one occasion is a gal is listed on more than one site. If you don't write the review with the same site as the 1st reviewer, your fucked!  Also, God help you if you have a typo on one of those 140 digit URLs for their sites. Even if there are 220 reviews ahead of yours, you'll get rejected like Al Sharpton at a Republican Convention!

A client of mine I met at the beginning of my career, from NYC but visiting Tampa, wrote a wonderful review. It was articulate, extremely well written and perfectly captured the romantic mood of the evening and described me accurately as a woman who loves what she does. They rejected it. Not graphic enough. So, he rewrote it, added some juicier details and they rejected it again. Finally, he wrote it like a 12 year old, added lots of dirt and Voila, it got posted. Kind of scary isn't it?

See ya next week in Manhattan.
