Asking for a photographer friend.

A fashion photographer friend (who has done all my photos on my site) used to do a lot of escort photography when Eros allowed him to   have a banner ad.  Do you know of any sites where he can advertise?  He lives in LA but comes to NY, too.

Thanks,

There was (still is?) a site called Model Mayhem.  I know that there problems due to unverified "photographers" causing harm (acts of violence) to aspiring models (and "models wink wink").  There are also some alternatives:

There is a well known (on TER) escort photog who offers a free or deeply discounted "first shoot." Several escorts say he is great to work with. In exchange, his watermark remains on all of the pics. The escorts can post them in their ads, TER Photo Board, wherever ... so his name and brand is advertised that way.

I only knew of one escort review site in the SF Bay Area that actually allowed ancillary services (photographers, web designers, etc.) to advertise on. Unfortunately, that website was shut down a few years ago.

Seems that not very many, if any at all, make it easy for ladies to find reputable services that cater to their needs. Most likely word-of-mouth is the best way to inform each other on reputable, provider-friendly photographers, which is how I got my start.

If he has a twitter acct., I wonder if he could follow/tag some escorts in his area and get some exposure that way.

They allow photographers,  website builders and escort assistants to advertise there.

Jennie already has some great photos but might want some new pics.  And this doesn't help the OP's Q about helping the photog to advertise or find clients, but ...
.
In general, Providers can search ads and when they see photo shoots (quality, layout, lighting, etc.) that they like, they can reach out to that Provider and ask her who her photographer is.  Even if there is a watermark ("Aldo", "Scott Church", et al.), she can still ask the Provider how the shoot went ("clock watcher: one hour, one and done" versus "relaxed, unrushed afternoon"; or "got my pics the next day" versus "finally got my finished pics after 2 months") and to ask for advice.

In a perfect world, ladies would share their photographers' names. However, many do not and never tag them. I recommend twitter, and also SafeOffice also had a robust directory of photographers there.
