You will have a variety of good hotels to choose from, and be centrally located.  As for the Meadowlands, that's in NJ several miles west of NYC.  While that area is also good, if you intend to stay there, a post on the NJ ad board would be advisable.

I've had an overwhelming amount of requests to tour New York. Therefore, for the first time, I plan to visit your area in the Spring. I have one delimma, I'm not sure of the Best place to stay. After doing some research, it appears that a number of ladies stay in Manhattan, Midtown and the Meadowlands. I'm not familiar with any of these areas, so if I can be so bold as to ask......gentlemen, where do you prefer touring ladies to stay? Ladies, do you have a favorite preference? Please feel free to respond to this thread, send a PM or email me at [email protected].

Thank you in advance and I'm looking forward to spending time in the big apple.

Mid-town Manhattan.  Easiest to get to for the largest # of people.  Meadowlands is a confusing nightmare of highways and you can really only get there by car.  I've done it but prefer Manhattan.  If you ask for specific hotels please be sure to remind people such info should be conveyed by PM only.

Your planned dates and I get a room, I can tell you where I will be and you can stay in my room.

Seriously - I would suggest midtown.

between 8th and 5th, where the most trains run. I also think below Times Square, because it gets messy up there with tourists.

in mid-town.  Between 34th and 50th and, like one of the others said, close to all the trains and Grand Central and Penn Stations.

And to the guys in NY, this is one visiting lady you WILL want to see.  Trust me, the pleasure will be yours and hers!!

There are so many hotels in NY, so youve always got so many options. I have always stayed near Penn Station. It's easy for travel, for my sake, plus it's easy navigation for your visitors. Unlike other tour locations, no matter where you stay, if you're in NY....everything is at the tip of your fingers, restaurants, coffee shops, gym, taxis, anything.

Love NY! have a ball!

It's 20 minutes away from the Port Authority bus station by NJ Transit which makes it great for most hobbyists who work in Manhattan or live anywhere in NYC.  When there are no events at the stadium then rooms rent for much less than in Manhattan.  Providers should check their boards, too.
