Can anyone tell me where I can find information on Meet and Greets in NYC?  I have heard that they exist but can never seem to find out information about them.  I am interested in attending one.

But mainly you need to become known to the people who throw these parties by posting on the local board and continuing to review.

There are periodic gatherings that are referred to as Mixers.  These are announced several weeks in advance both here and on the M&G board to allow those that have never attended a previous event to contact the hosts and secure an invite.  Screening and references will be required.  As for the more private events, they are what they are...private.  

Do not count on hosts contacting you to extend invitations if you are a hobbyist wishing to attend one, and have never previously attended....you will have to reach out.
