BTW, I love Thirsty's comment about about "recognizable username"- I do business in Atlanta, and occasionally post on that board. One poster there recently said "Welcome Smelly, but please be kind to our BBWs".  ROTFLMAO  (I guess I'm pretty recognizable).

On a different note,I will say it's lower than  low, and in my book CRIMINAL, for someone to hack into online accounts!!!  There is at least one party guilty of this crime in our midst. The offending party is NOT a 1st timer in the hacking department. That's all I'll say publicly for now.

Initially, I post this here, in public, since there's been a lot of whispering about me vis-a-via the BC Board.  I have nothing to hide.

After Staff posted about a leak in passwords of the BC Board, I have repeatedly been approached (either via PM or by phone) about the BC Board.

I'm flattered that someone even thinks I'm a moderator on this board.

FACT:  I AM NOT A MEMBER, LET ALONE A MODERATOR, OF THIS BC BOARD.  I had heard about this board, but have never been invited.

It seems that my name is being bandied around like I'm the bad guy.  

Newsflash:  It's not me.  Maybe there's another Ricky, Desi or other related "I Love Lucy" character around, but it's not me.  

What's funny is that anyone that really knows me is aware that, other than my recent soiree w/ Megan, Crysta and Natalie, I had not seen anyone else in weeks.  My work and home schedules have been so busy I haven't had the time to play.

Moreover, those that know me are also aware that if I have something to say, as PC incorrect as it may be, I tend to put my foot in my mouth and just say it.   "I don't need no stinkin' BC Board to deliver my message."

So whoever is spreading the word that I'm part of this BC Board - you're wrong.  If you care to confront me with any evidence to the contrary, please do.  

Otherwise, I'd like to go back to work, home, and occasional play.

since you seem so well connected and with so much knowledge of the BC Board (after all, you wouldn't be so sure of yourself if you didn't have somnething in hand, would you?), certainly more than I, show me the proof.  Someone saying their me, or whose handle may be close to mine may be wanting everyone to think it's me, but it's not.
Go ahead, compare the ip addresses.  It's not me.  Have I said that enough?

Are we really dumb enough to draw a sinister parallel between Ricky Desi, Ricky Ricardo and Fred Ethel? Next thing you know we’ll be strip searching Mrs Truble. ;)

Ricky Desi is not the force behind the backchannel board although I must admit when I first heard about Ricky Ricardo I jumped to the same conclusion. It looks like somebody is trying to set RD up. All I can is  “Ey Yi Yi” (Sorry…couldn’t resist.) Why would the BC board admin choose the I Love Lucy personas unless they were trying to draw this link back to RD?

TER’s main concern is that we all protect our own security by using different passwords for each account. I would recommend that you take the same precaution with you hobby email password.

Beyond this, if you have anything else to say on this issue, I would invite my friends on TER and the backchannel board to post in their most recognizable username rather than a TER alias or a backchannel board admin username.

BTW…if I ever start my own board, it won’t be hard to out me. All the Admin usernames will end in “dude”. ;)

Lets move on...

I don't know what this is all about but I don't care. RD is a great person it seems like he was put into something, which I could careless about.
I think at this point moving onto the real board memebers of TER that actually don't use aliases should be appaluded.

It looked from all my notifications that it was... This person did assure me he wasnt reeky desi.. but with a program I have it showed your email opened in the background... the *x* one.. change your pass for it..

I now see it was someone trying to make people think it was you... They said they had that handle for an awful long time and it just stuck... funny thing.. that gmail just began not to long ago.. so im sure it wasnt anything about any name sticking like glue..

It seems that Ciara has, on more than one occasion, flaunted her opinion about someone on the board without knowing a thing about them

Just as a provider does not wish to be subject to speculations and half-truths about her, many in the hobby appreciate the same

Ricky is as upstanding as they come. His reputation should never have been called into question, apologies aside; speaking without knowing is quite possibly the most ignorant thing a person can do

Maybe some providers need more moderation

I don't think that we have ever communicated before and I have always valued your contribution to this board, but here I think that you are out of line.  You have posted a "mea culpa" and that, I believe, was an upstanding thing to do.  However, Poppy called you out on your error and made some comments that, though they may sting a little, were made to come to the defense of an individual that was improperly maligned, by you among others evidently.  

You may not like that, but you had to expect it by confessing.  To then turn around and start ragging on his ratings of providers, which I might add is completely irrelevant to this discussion is completley inappropriate and childish.  

Flame me if you wish, but I am sharing my opinion so you can think about it.  I mean you no disrespect and have nothing against you.

Bacca. No problem... Me and Poppychulo had a little territorial backpissing in PM's due to him trying to put a UTR girls webpage on the board wa all.. ( of course i wasnt that only one that chastised him over it either) but you are right.. and I dont take your post as offensive at all.  I and MANY others did wrong.. We THOUGHT by GREAT circumstance that is was reeky.. The "mind pygmys" had MANY Of us fooled... especially when my email tracer came back with with ricky desi's email that he uses for another arena.

I was wrong and can take a blast. I more than expected it. Not a problem.. but thanks for sharing..

Actually it's backchannel communication that could use the moderation. IMO, I never understand why people don't realize that backchannel communications NEVER stay backchannel. PERIOD!!! Guys talk to the ladies and the ladies talk the guys.

It doesn't take a lot of energy to figure out that you should trust no one. ;)

Let me get this straight. Who's on first, What's on second, Ricky Desi is on TER, Ricky Ricardo is on a secret board, Ciara is on a soapbox,  Smelly is online unless he is out with the kids, Mr Fisher is on the level, and thirsty is on Prozac.

So where is Desi Arnaz? he must be on tbd.

One thing is for sure. Too many people on this board (and thread) are on an alias.

if I were in NYC I'd do ya :) Sorry for your troubles. I have never heard of a backchannel board but Staff at TER emailed me and told me to change my password due to someone trying to access my TER account so I dunno if it was all from backchannel or where...but maybe it has to do with all the flippin dumbass alias names lately ?!
