Listlord my wonderful friend: The point that the girls are paying the same costs, taking the same loses we are they are still way way ahead of the curve because they are NOT PAYING TAXES on their earnings. So they are 40% ahead of the general masses.
The boat is not in dry dock, it has a full tank, just paying dock space costs, since I took a run to Bimini. Gas on the water here is 5.50 p/gal and 7.20 for deisel. Have not even started the engines in the past 3 weeks.
The housemates are not treating me as sugar daddy etc. One goes off to work everyday 5 days a week, the other is just a party girl you know that. The one that works is my playmate. So there is no need to seek outside companionship or p4p action.
The point being is that no person who is not guaranteeing your personal freedoms is worth 6-800 p/hr to tell you how great you are and put on a performance. I would not pay 600 for a Yankee tkt that lasts 3 hr or a womens pussy that lasts 1 hr.
There are alot of beautiful women on the beaches, clubs, restaurants, bars, casinos, all one needs is game and they are yours for free.
The point being again, the economy stinks, working girls are earning took damn much for their skill sets and do not deserve the fees demanded and they will suffer when biz dries up if it already has not. If one keeps telling the same lie over and over (biz is great, we are booked etc) people start to believe the lie and they hold the prices because of perceived demand which does not exist.
I see the working girls here in Fla and the thread here which is dead, I mean dead and they are suffering. They are lowering their rates here, giving you way over time paid for just to keep you coming back. Friends have visited and bought action and they have had 1.5-2 hrs for a 1 hr fee because the girls did not think they were visitors, thought they resided here.
The area I live in the value of the homes are soem of the highest in the state. Two other communities are on par Palm Beach and Naples. We have a 40 man police force for a town that is 1.25 miles long x .5 miles wide with 3 speed traps set up at night picking off tourists and undesirables.

I know WL's agenda. And even though he is a friend, I have to go on record here, as this thread is entirely too contentious, though people should be angry, but just not about the prices of providers. WL is not even fighting for himself. He is lobbying for the rest of us. His deal is he doesn't think NERVE's female companionship should cost so much. WL felt that way before the market got crunched and he'll feel that way if things turn around.
WL’s thoughts on the price of companionship are not really influenced by the cost to fill his boat's gas tank –and he didn’t even mention that in his laments; maybe he put it in dry-dock. WL just thinks women should be charging less, period. He has felt that way since we started talking shop. He likes nice women. He has a good eye for them, he really does have good taste, but he also likes a good deal.
Would I like it if the best girls charged less? Sure, who wouldn't? We could all hobby more, yippy! But would I go campaigning for bringing down the price based on a rotten economy? What's the point? If the prices fall, they fall. If they don't, they don't.
WL isn't paying for the classy girls no matter what state the economy is in. And I don't get it either, because I've seen the photos of the ladies who hang at his pool who he can bang for free (or maybe I got it wrong and they are just there for decoration, or maybe like Bill Maher said tonight on REAL TIME, he got hooked up on SEEKING ARRANGEMENTS and is playing sugar dad). So, I don't get why he cares so much about what the rest of us pay. Now don't go getting all uptight with me WL for telling it like it is, you know I want to come to Florida, hang at your pool, and play with your friends.
So, where are we? The economy is truly fucked. Our country is truly fucked. Can things get worse yes? Can things get better? We can only hope we get some politicians that stop practicing anal with their heads on their own asses. Will the rotten economy affect the prices of companionship, or whom guys go see? I am sure it will in segments of the companionship market and for some hobbyists. Will the high-end providers suffer and lower their prices? I doubt it.

After the past 10 days we have all lost 15% or more in our 401K's, unemployment is thru the roof (CBS News reported real CA unemployemnt is 21.2% and most are collge grads with advanced degrees), home values have dropped 6.5% this year so far, gasoline is back over 4.10 p/gal, rents have jumped 3.5% on 1 yr leases, food costs are rising, bank rates are .10% on your money, hedge funds are getting hit hard, Goldmna Sachs even reported trading losses for the qtr.
Rome is burning and the politicians are on the golf course on vacation.
FAA laid off 80,000 contractors and are losing 30 million a day in taxes instead of paying the 13 million a day for the contractors, only Washington does math this way.
Obama is a one term failure, Tea Party is finished, a third party middle of the road candidate needs to appear and run all the mutts out of power.
Double dip recession, this is what we have now, the next step is depression.
Stock Mkt right now at noon is down 370 pts again.
So where is everyone getting 400,500,600 p/hr to spend on these women?

I was starting to feel that I was the only one that even cares about mundane things like our financial survival. Meanwhile the Wall Street pros continue to pay taxes on thier huge gains at a capital gains rate, while I pay over 40% of my hard earned money to state and federal income taxes. Funny part is the CBS National News reported tonight that the Prez approval rating is holding steady at 48%, Congresses rating dropped to 13% approval rating.
The poll sponsored by the NY Times (Liberal) and the wall St Journal (Conservative) stated that 86% of those polled said the exconomy is very bad. Now darling OctaviaNYC/NJ, I do not know where you are getting your facts from but the economy sucks , and we mean sucks.
The high prices of the indoes and agencies at 4-800 p/hr is ludicrous in this enviorn and they will go thru unfulled hours, cancelled appts but still be paying the high NYC hotel rates, high NYC apt rents and never lose their taste for clothes, shoes, jewelry and drugs.
Somethings got to give and the clients wallet has been bleed dry.
The heat spell across the country and in NYC has people paying electric bills of 500 p/mo or more on top of the mtg, maint costs etc.
I live in S Fla on the ocean and the prices of the homes have collapsed. Homes over 1.5-2.0 million have dropped to under 1 million. My elec costs here which are a hell of alot cheaper p/kilowatt than NYC is close to 800 p/mo. The pool pumps and filters are burning up the meter as well as the central a/c.
So this past month I have lost 17% on my retirement accts, lost 20% on my home, lost 8% on inflated food costs and gasoline costs, medical costs have increased 20%.
So where is the playtime cash money coming from?
sometimes you have to go for it...Honestly I don't think now is the time....Some ladies I know that charge a lot for the hour have told me that things are very slow (slower than ever). But I defend the woman's right to charge what she wants. I think i may pull back a little on the higher end girls for a while but believe it or not my dumb ass just booked a trip to vegas so that shows you what I know..

rhetorical nonsense, media not telling the whole truth, just curious what is the whole truth. i mean as the other poster wrote the market dropped over 500 points. and yes eventually it will come back somewhat, but the questions i'm hearing from major business owners in this city is how far of a drop and when and at what point does this dropping level off. the confidence level is down. most i've spoken to are convinced nothing is going to turn until the 2012 election and then only if there is a new president-though i'm not sure that's the answer either. nyc isn't immune to the rest of the country's and the world's worries- Italy Portugal etc.
sure there are going to be hobbyists who will still spend the bucks but i know of more than any before who are searching backpage ads for lower rates even knowing most are rip offs. or just going turtle and spending more time at the job instead of hobbying. and sometimes i too see some of the rates stated and think who is paying this.
Short term cash flow still allows me to hobby...

There is always demand for a good product at a fair price. Take Cara for example. She has an incredible body, beautiful face , extensive menu and very sexy. I think she is a bargain. If you are short on cash it would be better to beat off for a few weeks and save to see her rather than go see someone slightly cheaper but nowhere near the same quality.
