In a recent post, 1way said: “ When it comes to touring ladies, IMHO, you need to be careful. They are not here to make "love" to us. They are here to make money, so get in line. “  This was in reference to a common complaint that these visitors will only provide 1 cup in a 1 hour session.

I have heard all too often about visiting providers who will provide only one cup per hour while touring.  Their reasoning:  they're here to make money, so they line up as many clients as possible to achieve that goal.  Offering more than 1 cup  per hour so physically drains them (when there's no down time in betwenn clients) that it's unusally hard work when on the road.  And many of these providers go on the road for a week or more, visitng multiple cities (like they go to DC, Phila, NYC then home).  Some are different. I heard this from a visiting independent provider I saw last year.  

Note that I said "many providers, not all.  Many fine providers in fact visit NY and place no restrictions on services.  They should let us know about that in advance.  It lets the prospective client know that he can expect the same treatment that her local clients already know she provides.

I would imagine, and I would hope, that agencies that perpetually send visitors to NY, like BDJ, may be different, perhaps because they have a larger and more permanent investment in the NY marketplace.  After all, many of their girls come up from Florida, but they also have a number based here in NY and on LI.  I have not used BDJ, so I cannot comment from personal experience.

As a general rule I will not see a visiting provider.  Here is why:  The economy is down. From the volume of advertising by providers on this board, and the number of specials they run, I believe that even though they're not admitting to it, they are feeling the pinch.  For lack of a better term I believe that "Charity begins at home", and we should be supporting our own instead of sending our hobby money to Ft. Lauderdale, San Francisco, East Armpit, Iowa or anywhere else. The average hobbyist probably plays once or twice monthly.  If he sees a visiting provider, then half his allotted hobby budget, or more, goes out of town.  This compounds the plight of our local providers.  

Now this is my philosophy, and I’m sure many will disagree.  And I respect dissent.  Those who know me know that I travel frequently, and see more than 2 or 3 providers monthly. And invariably I book more than an hour, usually 2 hours or more.  So with 2 hours worth of $$ I am entitled to that 2nd cup. Most guys don’t have that flexibility, and the opportunity to “date” a visitor who otherwise they may never meet is very inviting.  And I certainly would never tell any guy who to see, but I am curious as to what others may think about this, especially in view of the posts I’ve seen that complain about the service they’re getting from visitors.

I would appreciate hearing opinions from clients and providers alike.  

And to those who knew I’ve been ill for the last couple of months and expressed their good wishes, I thank you all for thinking of me.  As of this morning, I am back in the saddle again!!  Review to follow.

fortitude: Thanks for your support. I think it's great that ladies travel, meet new people, and enjoy themselves. There are some really great business women in this industry who I like to see do well. But then there are those who I've noticed seem to change their name every few months. When a client has a negative experience with a provider it makes him less open to seeing new providers. And isn't variety the whole point of hobbying?

I've only had bad experiences with visitors. 2 times I made an appt and 2 times they flaked. Both well reviewed women and neither one of them ever offered an apology, excuse or anything. 1 of them I even helped with getting a decent hotel. So, visitors I will not see unless it is someone I know and have already met at their home base and have a good rapport with.

And like you Fortitude, I like to have multiple hour appts. but due to the terrible economy I have cut back to 1 hour and fewer dates per month.

I can see where you are coming from and in most cases I am sure you are correct BUT then there are those of us who provide the best of what we have to offer (and yes more than 1 cup if you like.)I will tell you what ever you think you can do in the amount of time you wanted it totaly up to you but I will help in any way I can to see that you get a second cup. I for one do not treat anyone different just because I am in a different town in fact quite opposite, I probably treat someone on the road a little better just for the fact that I am on thier turf so to speak. I am not the kind of person who will tell you that if you don't see me you will miss out on one of the best bbbj's you could have ever had, wait a minute what am I thinking yes I am, well I am not one of those people who will tell you that if you don't see me while I am visiting I will put a curse on you and your wee willy winky. Nope instead I will tell you I understand and I would hope of nothing but the very best for you and your wee willy winky for many years to come. As for the $$$ and being put in the pocket of an out-of-towner all I have to say is don't my children get just as hungry as your children or don't they need new clothes and shoes for school and my bills may come on a different day as yours but they still come. Being the sole supporter of my family has it's tolls and sometimes going on the road is what I need in order to get ahead 3 boys are not cheep thank goodness I don't have 3 girls.

p.s. I am sorry you were ill but so very happy to haer that you are back in the saddle!!!

I did not mean to imply that all visiting providers are like that.  I apologize in that I should have worded one paragraph in my post differently, the one about agencies that send many girls here thus having more of an ongoing interest in NY. I will now edit it to reflect this.  I will now go back and edit the original to reflect this.

That said, I looked at your web site before responding, and it seems that you are beautiful as well as possessing a plethora of outstanding reviews.  And I like more voluptuous (I don't like the term "BBW")providers!  I said in my post that it was simply my opinion.  I would never think of witholding $$$ to feed your kids unless I needed the $$$ to feed mine, in which case I'd have no business whatsoever hobbying, of course.  

The best way to advertise your visit to NY so as to allay the fears of those NY members that prompted me to post this thread is to tell them that MSOG is included in your service.

The first visiting lady I saw (2 hours) was just about as fun as humidity on a hot summer day.

Fortitude told me not to see her but the time schedule allowed me to drive to Uniondale and back. Thank God F. was around to have lunch with me so I could bitch for an hour or so. But I think I paid for lunch that day so I didn't feel as bad : )

I will be the first to say that I like to keep my money local. I often speak to a lady who owns an agency and the feed back I'm getting is that she is just making a living with very little profit. I can't imagine that my one visit to a visitor would hurt her economy. However, she is there for me so I should be there for her.

I tend to like a lady who has GFE qualities. SOME touring ladies don't seem appear to have the time, energy, concentration or ability to take it to that level.

So with that said, I will most likely NOT see a touring lady if I can get the same experience from a local gal. Notice that I did not say "never". There are always exceptions to the rule.

Variety is the spice of life.  I love seeing new providers.  I love seeing visiting providers.  Of course, I only book with visiting providers if they have lots of consistent home turf positive reviews, from hobbyists who have written lots of well-thought reviews themselves.

I agree with some of your points. Personally I rarely see visting  providers with the exception of
some Indies who visit.  The agency girls sometimes see 8 - 10 or more in some cases guys a day, and frankly I dont want to be # 7 or worse in line.And the few times in the past I did see one you always seemed rushed because the next appointment is downstairs.
I like multi hr appointments with multiple cups , and thats a difficult propostion with visiting Ladies due to the demand.

I'm a big fan of BDJ if you are including them in the visiting category. As for the indies from out of state, only if well reviewed and fees are reasonable not to exceed $$$$.As a native New Yorker, I enjoy sharing my New "Yawk" stories with the out of towners and of course they BS about how they love NY men, lol,but if they are BS ing ,they sure are good at it.

On a side note, I do notice of late,on EROS, that more and more visiting providers are coming in asking for $$$$$$ and as far as I'm concerned they can take a hike.Hell....afterall we are in a recession...be reasonable ladies!

I took a shot on a visiting provider recently because she looked good, seemed nice, was in a convenient location and was reasonably priced.
Never again.
I felt rushed. She was tired and while she did give a good effort, I just never felt comfortable knowing I was part of an assembly line.  I had no interest in a second cup but even if I wanted to, someone was on his way 15 minutes after the first cup.
Bottom line, to each his own and buyer beware.

Hello NY! I've never visited your board before, but was 'invited' to take a peak, oops, that would be peek - LOL (what was I thinking??) and see what your board's all about..!
And, yes, I love New Yorkers - one of my all time favorite accents! And the attitude - love it! You rock!
Anyway, I just wanted to comment that I was really touched by Fort's loyalty to the 'locals'. And, I, for one, really appreciate that. That loyalty is something you don't see much in CA, and particularly in San Diego. Many of the SD Providers don't feel much support or loyalty at all from the local Hobbyists, and LIVE for the traveling businessman or the touristy visitors. That's not to say that we don't have some, but it's rare. They are quick to point out that they can go across the border for their fine, young Mexican sweetie for only $65 (or whatever) and very quick to throw in your face the hotties from Toronto or some place that are visiting without any regard on how it's worded, nor how they make us feel. It's too bad really, because we have some really awesome, cool ladies. But, at the same time, if I were a Hobbyist, I'd enjoy taking advantage of the opportunity to see some gorgeous, new, well reviewed Provider from 'afar' - how delightfully intriguing! But, it's the attitude behind it, that's objectionable. Geez, the Super Bowl, for example..
But, with all the absolutely gorgeous women ALREADY in NY, I don't see how you could even make the rounds there, seeing a fraction of them - before considering an 'out of towner', and, I'm with Fort on that - stay local first priority, then visitors, IMO. Maybe you've emailed or been in contact with someone from somewhere else, and she so happens to be coming to NY on tour, and she said she'd be sure to notify you of her visit, well, that would be different..Does that make sense?
Anyway, glad to be here - wish I could see NY some day - it's always fascinated me!

If you read my post I suggested that BDJ is an exception.  By all accounts they're reputable and their gals provide good to excellent service.  Many guys I know personally have used BDJ and have, by and large, been very happy with them.

The spirit of my post is a response to the numerous complaints of late that guys seem to feel short-changed by many visitors.  Your thesis that if a provider has good home reviews she  will provide the same performance on the road is flawed.  There is no basis, and in fact the gals that got the complaints on this board generally fell into that category.  

A gal named Derinda (companionaz.com) responded to my post, saying she was not like that.  I suggested to her that when she does post her visit to this board she emphasize that, so that guys who do see visiting and touring providers will know that she will be a quality provider in NY, as she definitely is in Arizona.  Just look at her reviews.  If she asserts that her service will be the same in NY, go for it.

My opinion about seeing new visiting providers (there are 2 that I've seen in the past that I would see again in NY because we do have history) stands.  For me.  I was expressing my opinion, and clearly stated that I don't think any different of anybody who dissents.  My outlook on this hobby, because of my frequent travelling, makes my case different from most other guys.

And yes, we are in a recession.  And yes, those high priced spreads on Eros can take a dive onto the Lexington local tracks, for all I care.  Or the LIRR tracks!

You should post that on the "Suggestions and Policies" Board.  In the meantime, guys should put that information into the body of the review so that it clarifies if it was a "home" or "away" game for the provider.

Like I said, your reviews show you to be a quality provider.  You say that you didn't know that there were no options other than MSOG, but from what I hear you'd be surprised at how many providers don't agree with you.  This is one thing that makes you special, and I'm sure that when you come to NY, with your looks and attitude, you'll do well.  It seems that one of my NY buddies has already expressed his desires for you.  Good Luck.  You seem like the kind of gal New Yorkers would welcome.
