Does LE in NYC ever attempt to issue warrants just for texting? I was under the impression that you have to actually show up in person to be charged. I'm researching for an article and getting conflicting info.

Also make sure you have one on retainer. Yes texting about prices/services can get you in trouble. That is why you see so many ads no text. Talking/text about prices for services can get one in trouble.  Have sex with a provider is legal. It is the talk about price for services that gets you into trouble.

You are writing an article and you have come here to do research?

Who are you writing for? It can't be a reputable publication.

Heard from lawyers that it's possible, but my question is le using it? Seems they stick to in person busts.
What if there is no discussion via text re services or prices? I've even talked to one lawyer who said if you text anything to a provider you could be in trouble.

I also find such gawkers to be *incredibly* rude and distasteful.

However it *is* a public board... and let this be a reminder who don't understand why that matters.
