whom I am trying to turn onto TER. I know that she'd be wildly succesful here and I am trying to help her out. So here's the dilema. She has an average to above average body and a gorgous, sensational face. She is petrified to take pictures because in addition she has some telling tattoos that would immediatly identify her. So, for her site she suggests that she use a model that looks very much like her for her pictures and then put a disclaimer in her AD that this is a woman of her likeness. I am not so sure this is the route to go. What are your thoughts gentlemen? Would this turn you off from seeing her? I'm certain she'd be able to rack up some terrific reviews. So what to do when your face is your greatest asset?
Have her take her pictures and request the tats to be removed from photos, it can be done and is often done. Email me at [email protected] if you need my photographer.
I really don't have a prob with "look alike" photo's if the lady is up front about it. In fact I've seen a NYC babe you used fakes but they were so accurate I did not realize it. Actually I recall thinking we I first met her she was a little better looking than the photo's. But from previous discussions on the board most gents consider it an absolute deal killer.
I think she is going to have to get some flattering professional pics...blur the face & brush out the tats.
You have a great rep...I'm sure a few dudes will give your friend a chance. As far as the reviews...hopfully they will be good but most important they must be honest.
There is a touring Provider I met at a DC M&G a few years ago. Aboslutely stunning face. But she is exceptionally , shall we say ..wide. Not someone I'd be interested in but I know she has a strong national client base. So obviously , there IS a market.
It's enough of a leap of faith already, without someone telling you 'this isn't me.' I'd vote for more-covered honest pics, along with strategic use of Photoshop and body makeup.
Out there and the other thing is if you shop out the tatts then in the worst case scenario of anyone came across the pics that thought they might know her, would think otherwise since the tatts are gone!
identify her, why doesnt she just photo shop them out? It's easy to do and isnt the same as airbrushing yourself fake. I have 3 small tattoos that I airbrush out for the same reason. My friends and relatives and SO would recognize them if they saw them- so just take them out and she can then use her real picture- crop or blur the face if she doesn't want to be recognized.
Your friend should book a good photographer, tell him her worries and see what he comes up with
Clients hate fake photos it & won't book even if you use pics that are similar
I only have real photos on Atlantic but with that said I would say that so many girls just don't look like their pics
Lexi (@ Atlantic) was worried about being recognised so her shots focus on her body & the ones with her face in them are side on also she doesn't smile. In real life she is a smiley person her pics don't really look like her. Clients are always how much better she is in real life which is a good thing
Blurring a face cuts work by 50% or more as guys always assume a girl is butt ugly; when often its the prettiest ones that need blurring cause they are mostly likely to be recognised (models, actresses etc)
If I have a girl with tattoos then I ask the photographer to shoot around them & write on her page that she has some tattoos (some clients love tattoos, others absolutely hate them). Airbrushing them can also get you bad reviews which I have seen happen to quite a few girls in the UK (where 99% of girls use real photos)
