His original post just stated one point of view. It is a point of view that you can free disagree with if you want. I did not see anything there to suggest that the person was a higher-roader.
The situation with all the busts is justifiably causing some angst, but a person really has to get caught in the act to face any type of criminal charge. LE having a name on a list could mean anything and a good lawyer would make it mean just that. For all they know, a person could have called Julie's and got on her list while doing nothing more than beating off into a warm towel. Now if Juile kept the detailed scivvy, then the tale changes somewhat. Regardless, it is going to be interesting, many of the hobbyists sweating this one out appear to be the ones that despise heavy screening for good solid providers that do not keep records.
I don't believe that at all. They are not even pressing charges against the johns they busted last week. They want to take Julie down, not the johns. A misdemeanor gets a DA nothing. They want the felony convictions.
They could give 2 shits about the johns. If it is true that even one underage girl worked in this brothel, that's where her troubles lie.
DA'S go after felonies. It is what makes them worthy for their careers, they go after the big bucks after they serve their time in the dog house trying to get all the felonies which looks good on their records to get into large firms or do well enough on their own.It's the name of the game.

John's are a dime a dozen. No prosecutor would consider them "big game." Yet, if you were going to take down a bunch of agencies and prostitutes wouldn't it make sense to throw in some johns to protect one's ass against allegations of selective (gender bias) prosecution?
