She sets you up by e-mail and meets you at a Starbucks, getting the donation from you in public for "her safety". When you walk out with her you are encountered by two males, one gets in between, the other grabs her stating she is his girlfriend. When they get half way down the block, the second male says she is too young and has been doing this all the time, then he takes off. Both males are violent and hostile. After walking away, they post on Craigslist again, looking for their next victim. Review being posted.
I am not someone who posts, but this is dangerous and needs to be called to everyone's attention before someone gets hurt.
Doesn't CL have any type of a system in place where you can report ripoffs? Obviously, I'm not familar with CL or I wouldn't be asking.
Can't you go onto CL and also sell your TV, car or other services on another CL board? They must have a system in place to pull ads of ripoffs in these other areas?

Every once in a great while, you can find someone who isn't a rip-off, but it really is hit or miss. I still check TER to see if there are any reviews for CL posters.

When you see an ad as graphic as hers, run away as fast as you can. How many legitimate providers say that they want Anal in their ads and that you can have as many pops as you want? The ad should be a dead givaway that something bad is amiss if you answer it.
The original ads she was posting was not graphic, in fact far from it. The "anal" ad was only posted recently. They are getting desperate. I would never have responded to a "graphic" ad!!!!
You paid $1000 in public, not even in the hotel room and you are surprised you got robbed? By a chick on Craig's list with no reviews. That's really stupid of you to do.
with this scam...as I know hundreds of older perverts, dying to f*ck anally a girl that could be of their grandaughter's age did reply (and believed) in the ad. Have to say, that is a very creative way of making lots of money.
Man In NY, you have done a great public service for us here, if it's true. I've had mixed experience with craigslist, from great to a complete waste of time. I've never been ripped off though. I am very careful when I use craigslist as I do worry about what you say has happend. Has anyone else any experience with this girl? Does anyone else know of any other ripoffs that post on Craigslist?
Im curious. When things are slow for me, Im sometimes tempted to post on CLES because its quick and easy. When I first started providing (~8 months ago), I posted there regularly and had mostly good to amazing experiences and some of the guys have now become my good friends. Maybe I just got lucky. Has the quality really gone down or is this just what everyone says? Would I be lowering myself if I posted there now?
Carissa -- I first saw you there, but I have to admit -- we both got lucky! I did a lot of research before we finally met.
Stay away from CL; I only look at it for the new talent. Like I said I do a lot of reserach -- and am really picky!
The past year I've met two really good finds on CL. 1 Wants to remain utr and 1 was only doing this for a short while. However, I can see the scam artists a mile away. I am very very careful, even fussy as to who I would meet. I don't even consider 90% of the posts there. I always look for reviews first and I would never come out with that kind of money upfront. Also, if you do encounter a ripoff, post on CL as a Ripoff or Scam. Be careful.
Just to be clear here...Craigslist is rife with crap...that said there are the occasional jewels...
Last summer I found an AMAZING UTR girl...saw her more than a few times. She was/is amazing.
That said anyone participating in this hobby needs to be both careful and smart. You can do all the research you want here, elsewhere, whatever...and still have a crappy time.
YMMV EVERYWHERE, and while the heat is on UTR is, in my humble opinion, just about the only way to go...

Ok A FEW THINGS here:
I started what seems many eoens ago posting on CLES when there was still such a thing as a rare find.
It worked well for me being a UTR girl and simply helping making a it here and there for squirting lessons.
NOW, there is no sense in looking there for it is the bottom-feeding-trash that even my lame ass super refuses to pick up.
Mostly these day the best places to find anything close to a deent catch seems to be Eros, Cityvibe, providerpost (?)..maybe...other non-agency indys...
I for one if were male, would not see a girl these days without some creditable reviews, pics, phone number that you can call back on, ect...
Being on the provider side we have to take precautions. Being on the hobbying side I suggest you all do too.
As for hanging/walking or feeling like you should be in a public place with that about of cash should have given you a tummy ache as to what was already wrong with the situation.
Not one to play bad-beatter-of-site...since CL was bought out it is all for the taking for that type of scam..
Too bad it happened..but stick at least with the guys on here for pm'ing abot decent/excellent providers-girlfriends.
If it seems to be too good to be true than it most likely is...get a reference from your fellow friends!

No matter how careful one is, anyone can be taken. The initial postings were not graphic at all. In fact, the postings were cleanly written, and everything made sense. The last posting made, which is now down, was the first graphic posting, and the first one in which a pic was actually posted. As for Gothicman's posting, I am far from stupid (no offense to Gothicman). Had the last posting with the pic and the "anal" language been made first, the warning sign would have been there. It wasn't present in the beginning.
