It's not the rain...

Yesterday, I texted one of my regular girls at 1 and then again at 4. She finally responded at 7:15 saying that her phone had been dead.

I said I wished I had heard back from her earlier, so I could have gone to her after work, rather than going home in the pouring rain and getting soaked.  She said that because of the bad weather she had no appointments all day.

Um.  Seeing as how I tried to schedule an appointment but her phone was off, I have no idea why she would think that her lack of work was because of the rain.  I guess it's easier to blame an outside force than to take responsibility.

Just thought it was funny

Or in this case, a Bat "girl" phone.

You know, a separate phone she has JUST for you so you won't have to wait a few hours (Oh, the humanity!!!!) to get your nut

My point wasn't to complain that I didn't get any (by the time she got back to me it was too late).

My point was that she was bitching about the weather being the cause of her business being slow, when it could have been the sunniest day of the year and it wouldn't have made difference because no one could reach her to schedule.

Rainstorms, snow, etc never stop guys from booking. At least not with me.

I think bad weather makes men frisky, specially during the the Spring and Winter months.

Maybe she just need to keep her phone on silent to avoid missing calls or texts from her regulars.

My phone service was down for a day due to my charger shorting out. I had to travel to Brooklyn to get a cheap replacement phone charger. Lost business as a result.

Snow never stop guys from booking her? Never? I call bullshit on that.

Any honest gal here will tell you snow hurts business.

There is definitely some exaggeration to her but during this year's snowstorm many providers told me they continued to see volumes, albeit it was shifted more toward the daytime (as guys tried to go home early to beat the rush).
