I've been on the receiving end of that kind of behavior after complaining about a bait and switch where a different provider showed up even though I'd been communicating for several days with the one I wanted to see.

From both your and her post, it's obvious that she is not referring to a reasonable Alias usage such as yours. I imagine that is why aliases are allowed. I think she means the vicious, mean-spirited, hiding behind someone else's skirt attacks on any post that does not meet the attacker's fancy! I'm sorry Little-Bit, but this is a discussion board and every post isn't going to be all lovey dovey.
There are a variety of topics posted everyday. Having a heated discussion, alias or not, doesn't make you an idiot. Can't people disagree on a subject? If you do then it seems you're called an idot or attacker or worse.
I'm sure providers would just like to talk about when they're available and their services. But isn't that what the Ad Board is for?
Mislaid, the purpose of an alias as one poster mentioned are outlined by the board administrator.

These are the only hot women they can have on demand but this truth makes these men hate such women (having to pay, knowing she sells to others). Also, many more fair minded men have their own online communities and contribute most of their views there (not here). So many (not all) of those left around are the barrel-bottom dudes.

Real, live, and not posting under alias'. The alias nonsense has been, I agree, a problem that has metastasized, but the board is not totally ruined, not yet anyway. Those of us who have been around for awhile, probably should just make our arrangements directly, and bypass the idiocy.
