What's up with that? Y'all don't like to talk?

Thought I was going to come here to find awesome entertaining threads but I'm surprised to find the opposite, mehhhh..

A beautiful spring day?  How much we love/loathe this city?  Where are the best places to eat?  Entertainment (besides sex).  The best places to stay?  For meetups vs. Just hanging out and having fun?   All of these topics have been raised here at one point or another, but, after all, this IS a board filled with people looking for people.  Providers looking for clients and clients looking for providers.
Although, except as a last resort when cancelled on at the last moment, I don't think I have posted more than one or two ISO's on this board in 4 years.

So that's why we start new ones, even if it has been talked about.  

There's an ISO board for that specific thing.  

I loathe NYC but I love it too! I miss the good food and the scene in the middle of Times Square where there are millions of people trying to get somewhere. :)  

Any new restaurants that are great ?  
I love food so point me in the right direction! ;

I'm not much help; my dietary restrictions prevent me from eating at most places. That being said, I've become a damn good cook because of it, if I do say so myself (and I do say so myself!)

I moved here nearly 11 years ago from a hole in the ground town in Texas and have hated most of my time here. The rare instances where I can participate in our glorious little hobby make it bearable.

 That's cool. I moved from California to NYC about a year ago. Did you move to California or are you just visiting?

 This is a city, saturated with cerebral people, the conversations boards highlight that when lit up with talking hobbyists and providers.

I don't miss the piss smell on the trains lol. I'm gonna be in NYC mid May I hope :) I wanna know what's new! Food? Any new shows on Broadway? A the 911 site still under construction for like 25 years??? Or is it finally done ? Lots of questions!

Thanks to the demise of local moderation, we have had to sift through this garbage for so long that it has driven most of us to only occasional posts, and not even bother checking in as often as we used to.
