i have done an analysis of hotels in and out of the nyc area...outside of the classic names and the meat packing type boutiques, the rates in the major cities are not that outrageously different around the country....and it's not as if they are staying in the lap of luxury....this is clear nonsense...i understand that touring rates should be higher than home based providing but i am annoyed with the distinction between what is charged in say in chicago/dallas/dc/boston/la/sanfran/tampa vs nyc....and now that the canadian dollar is on par with the us dollar, i am completely offended by those canadian hotties amping it up in my city

let's start an occupy vagina movement to even out the playing field

I agree - pretty soon I will have to find another hobby - I think I have made my limit at 400/hour can't see going much higher than that - oh well nice while it lasted!

The cost of hotels here is way more expensive then most anywhere else. The cost of food here is again higher then anywhere else.

The price of ads here ( no matter where you place them) in NYC is always higher then ANY place else in the United States. (lets keep in mind her travel fees to get here and you know she must pre-book everything including her airfare, bus or whatever and hotels)

Lets not even mention the price of "special need items" are also higher then anywhere else.

So, before you judge a lady for rasing here prices here in NYC, please remember the above list.

Someone charging $300/hr is making a very good living! $400/ hr is doing very very well!! $600/hr is getting greedy and for that price should look like a supermodel, and behave like a pornstar!
The $1000/hr and the ones expecting say $5000/ night have just lost the plot! I'm sorry but no pussy is ever worth that! Seriously, think about it, thats probably more than the average weekly wage... I seen a girl in vegas for a few nights at xmas(she has been working NY for about a year now) and arranged to see her in NY for my birthday, then she dropped the bombshell, "its NY baby, you have to pay me double!"  she was told where to go, but thats what happens, they lose sight of reality when their head disapears so far up their own ass! ha  
BUT!!!  You can't blame the prices on the girls, in any business, you can only charge what the customer will pay! And if  New Yorkers are prepared to pay over the odds for pussy then its themselves to blame! You have brought the higher rates upon yourselves as much as i hate to say it, as long as the dumb asses out there are prepared to pay over the odds i.e $600/hr+  then the girls will be laughing all the way to the bank! or nearest designer shoe shop!
NY is ok though, but there is plenty of very good girls out there to be found, who charge reasonable prices. i seen 2 from backpage, $350/hr and both were exceptional.. Maybe i was just lucky but i'm returning soon to find out!!

Go with those ladies who are in your price range, as any smart hobbyist should, and stop complaining about the ladies charging what the market will bear.  As for the Canadian hotties overcharging in NYC, Montreal is only a few hour's road trip away.

You obviously did not understand my rant...I am not complaining about the price of companionship...I am bithching about the "new york city" rate....hey dude, when you are in new jersey do you get a hardon when you fill up your gas tank near the hooland tunnel because you know you just saved $20 for the liquid gold?...I am simply stating the obvious fact at how new yorkers are generally screwed because of our zip code and the perception of our wealth...kindly reread what I wrote about the expense of staying in this city vs other major cities and how it really doesn't warrant the price hike

I've been back in the hobby for almost 2 years and when creating my non-base providing rates, it's been less confusing for me to just have one touring rate schedule. Even as a provider looking at a website or ad with all the different cities and the different rates, I'm like huh???? I'm sure that there are reasons for this though.

I can saw however, when comparing Oregon, Vegas, and Chicago to the further East Coast areas like New York City and Washington DC that the prices to stay in these two areas are indeed higher in hotels. Especially in the Spring and Summertime. I try to find non-hotel settings to in-call for this reason. Networking among other providers and internet research is key here.  Thank you to those of you who have given me insight.

The bottom line is that touring is expensive  and a gamble to lay out money that is hoped to be returned while having an errotic, fruitful trip. It's worth the overall expense and experience to see new places, try amazing food, and hear new sexy accents. Oh and most ladies and gentlemen I see travelling dress way better than Seattle folks who consider a North Face fleece a fancy addition to an outfit.

Well that dump in the middle of NYC is over $150 dollars plus parking, plus whatever imaginary fees that I may not have even seen, that same dump in Dallas is probably $39.00, NYC is expensive. My hat is off to any provider who lives there.

Some of us like a hotel that is more than a walkway surrounding a bed, with a closet sized bathroom.  I pay $350-$400 per night for my place when I come into NY, and considering what I need in a room, I consider that a bargain.  Added to that expense is my airfare, Amtrak, cabs, more expensive food, several days of lost income in packing and preparing, and unpacking and settling in back home.  Oh, and I still am paying for all of my overhead back in my home city.

If raising my rate were to profit over the expenses of touring I would have a rate 2.5-3 times what I ask at home... which even I find asinine.  So I have a nominal increased charge, and take more sessions than I would at home, while still limiting the amount I work so as to stay safe and discreet.  If things are good I go home with the same money after expenses which I would have made had I stayed at home.  Why bother with all that fuss for no added income?  Because I love to visit NYC!

Sorry you don't like when ladies charge more when touring, I'm sure you have plenty of options and will have no problems finding a provider in your budget.  I'm sure there are also lots of touring ladies who PriceLine a great deal on a room and do not charge more while in the city.  Maybe even enjoy the locals who do not have a higher rate than normal to be in the city!

Firstly, I get that you obviously are NOT a Connoisseur of Providers as you prefer to relate ALL providers as being 'pussies'. Niiiice. You know that there are great lawyers and then there are lousy ones. Would you prefer to pay for the GREAT ones or the LOUSY ones? (ie.  provider reviews, reputation, compatibility etc)  and yes, I agree that 1K/hour is ridiculous and yes, I agree that some providers are WAY not worth what they deliver. How do they get it? because men can't stand NOT to see them if they can afford it. I would imagine that many of them paying these outrageous  donations can't do it so often - if so, god bless em. Most of us though are hobbyists while others are crazed for the highest rates without doing their due diligence b/c the pics look good. Buyer beware!

NYC is I believe the most expensive place in the US (just my take on it)  - and it is ridiculously expensive while the hotels are crazy over rated in such a way that  3 stars hotels charge over 200+/night! I get that some girls 'believe' they are a 1K/hr b/c they have some sexy photoshopped photos that all the men should run to them. Forget it! Go for the girls in the TOP 20 TER for the big money and for the rest of us - we will be saving our Benjamins for the girls in the top/middle of the pack.  One of my ATF's shared with me that some guys who see girls for ONLY 1 hours aren't getting the full 'experience' of how much better 'building up' the excitement can be without the 1 hr time restraint.  SP69    

are in direct relation to NYC incomes, and that's OK. A steak in NYC costs more than a steak in Buffalo. A piece of art on a wall in a NYC gallery costs more than the same piece of art in a gallery in Tulsa. Parking in NYC costs more than parking in Indianapolis. Add to this the unique nature of the "commodity" our ladies offer, and you have a perfectly justifiable basis for NYC upcharges. Improper thinking is, "I want to see this lady, but she charges too much". Proper thinking is, "I want to see this lady, but I can't afford it." I don't base my choices on "how much", but on who I'd like to see - if I can't afford a certain lady's companionship, then I save until I can. If you think a Canadian lady's NYC upcharge is unfair, go see her in Canada!

Based upon factors such as room quality and square footage, NYC hotel rates are significantly higher than anywhere in the country.  That only makes sense, NY real estate and particularly Manhattan is more expensive than anywhere else in the country.  

I have a provider friend make a visit to NYC and her hotel cost $650/night.  That she can spend three nights in LV for that rate or one night with 1,500 square feet to stretch out.

Now about the NYC room taxes....

Ok, so lets give the touring ladies a break and just for a minute and buy the fact that they must stay in 6 star luxury and fly to NY first class and get back to the facts of why the rates are higher here than other cities...  
Could it be???

1. The guys here are maybe pretty wealthy but stupid?   very possible!
2. The ladies are far more attractive?  don't think so, look at LA, Vegas to name but a couple
3. The price of a steak? na!  most girls are salad munchers!
4. Better service? nope!  as good but not better than other places!

Sooo, unless the white knight brigade has any other offerings, maybe its because women are very good at business and very very shrewd! And will pick u up, chew u up and then spit u out and move on to the next full wallet!
And to all the supporters of the $600+ ladies, GOOD JOB, they are probably rewriting their ads as we speak putting the price up as you are so happy to pay it!! haha

Just my 2 cents, but i still think $300 or $400/ hr is a remarkably good income!

it's really not the perception of wealth.  Incomes in general ARE much higher in Manhattan than anywhere else on the East Coast.  And the ladies know this.  Why do you think they tour NYC and skip Allentown, PA. ... duh!  

And yeah, Orbitz and Travelocity have great deals even in NYC so it's not the expense side of the tour, it's the shakedown of the deep pocket execs.  

Let's see, I can see 2 guys at $800 each or 4 guys at $400 each.  That's a nobrainer for a provider.

Bottom line: if they can get the higher rate than more power to 'em.
