I am new to this hobby and have had a problem calling a couple of places and being able to set up an appointment. I understand their screening process is usually to confirm your phone number and call you back, but my telephone line is under my roomates name so there is no listing for me through the phone book or 411. I understand their hesitancy about booking me, but I am totally legit and am willing to show ID and pay stubs, but have not been able to convince them to let me show up and prove that I am ok to deal with. Can anybody give me some advice on how to get around this problem? I'd appreciate any help or advice that anybody has. Thanks.
