Can anyone recommend a hotel in Manhattan for that's good for hosting outcalls?
Preferably one that doesn't require keycard access to the guest elevators (if such hotels still exist in the city) and if not, perhaps without a busy lobby and with a relaxed "visitor" policy?Now, maybe LE doesn't read these boards any more but in the old days the assumption was they might be. I think LE, rather SOME prosecutors, are not going after Providers but will still go after clients. A bust will discourage the Provider and send her on her way but charge the client.

Also, hotels want to maintain their family friendly, business friendly, etc. friendly demeanor and will take their own actions (no LE involved) to discourage some activities if they are too obvious. Naming names on TER makes things more obvious: "XYZ Hotel is great. Slip Charlie the Bellhop $20 and he'll key card your visitor into the elevator and up to your floor without a hitch when she arrives. Just tell her to find the tall bellhop with the limp, Charlie, and tell him that she'd like to surprise her friend PeterPickle on the 27th floor." Next thing you know, Charlie loses his job at the XYZ and the crisp pickle goes soggy.

Every single one of them is. What exactly are you imagining is going to happen? I've been in no less than 30 different hotels and never once had an issue.
...Motel 6's qualify as "hotels" but to each his own lmao!
I should have clarified. I specifically meant hotels in NYC. Of which, none were Motel 6.
...as impposter mentioned, some hotels maintain a family-friendly image, and me going down to the hotel lobby every night to bring up a different provider back to my room before she leaves on her own an hour or two later may not exactly fit in with the image that the hotel is trying to maintain.
So that's why if there are hotel options in the city where said providers could come up to my room on their own without needing a keycard to access the guest elevators, that would be preferable for me.
Besides that I'm lazy and would like to just stay in my room wearing my robe after I take my pre-coital shower while expecting my company and not need to get fully dressed just to go down to the lobby to pick up my companion for the evening before going back up to my room and getting undressed again.
Further to that, some hotels have a strict (or stricter) "no unregistered guests" policy after a certain hour which of course could complicate the discretion I am trying to maintain when bringing up providers to my room. That combined with a busy lobby could lead to a potential perfect storm of unwanted attention and embarrassment.
Beyond that there could be a litany of unforeseeable scenarios involving unhappy hotel management, unexpected run-ins with people I know, strangers posting on social media any public commotion they see, LE, etc., of which (to paraphrase your question), "what could possibly happen?", is something I don't intend to find out lol! 👊😅
And before you reply, yes of course there's workarounds to any scenario and any hotel situation, but the fact remains that some hotels are more condusive than others for the purpose of hobbying, which is true in any part of the world, and in some parts of the world, some hotels are outright "hooker-friendly".
I don't actually expect there to be a "hooker-friendly" hotel in NYC, and if there was I probably wouldn't want to stay there, but usually in any city there's at least a handful of properties that beyond being a decent hotel in an acceptable location offers a nice balance of discrete public areas and relaxed "visitor" policy, the necessity of both being trumped simply by not requiring keycard access to the guest elevators lol!
