email communication with providers

I am interested in provider and hobbyists experiences here.  I only communicate with providers via email as I only have a company phone. (yes I should get a burner phone but I haven't and don't want to carry one around)  I find that the more experienced providers have no issue booking meetings with me only communicating with email.  In fact I met a gal this week that commented that I was concise and it was easy to set up a meeting with me.  Less experienced (conceivably more nervous about the process) providers won't move forward with a session.

Why is it that providers deem phone contact more trustworthy than email?   I assume, and so should they, that most of the gentlemen are operating on burner phones which make that contact no more or less reliable.

I had one provider, who I hadn't seen before, ask me to call her for verification. All she did was ask me what I did for a living. Of course, this was the one who I posted about a couple of days ago and all of a sudden she wanted IDs, etc. No thanks. I've seen call, text and email. It really depends on what they prefer.

I am very friendly with a provider, both on and off the clock.
Her ad states, "No Texts! Phone calls only".  I asked her about it once,
and her reply was  "If I'm gonna suck yer dick, I wanna know what you sound like!".

Makes sense to me.

Old clients can text.

It takes more balls to actually make a call, so I think it is a way for her to judge how serious you are.  Don’t believe it?  What is an easier way to deliver a tough message, e-mail or phone call?  Same with a set up.  Way easier to say Whut up via text or e-mail and then for you to ignore the response.

It is also a way for her to gauge your intellect, and in some cases, your ethnicity.

So maybe it's no more than that.

I have personally been in the business for years and would consider myself one of the "experienced" that your referred to in your post. I myself have  certain protocol that I follow. I prefer a client to supply me with my required screening info via my booking form online and then later we make contact via phone. I never like to meet with a person without speaking to them on the phone at some point before our meeting.
