Last real week-end of summer, so expect many to be out of town.  I was on vacation in Florida last week-end, so I expect to be around.  

As for the following week-end, the 10th anniversary of that dreadful day back in '01...President Obama won't be the only dignitary here..expect all of the former living Presidents, present and former living NY Mayors and Governors, the Secretary General of the UN, and many present and former Prime Ministers and Presidents from many nations to be present here as well.  Many or most of the contenders for the upcoming presidential election next year are likely to be here also, not to forget mentioning the Senators, Representatives from the House, and numerous other politicians that will want to part of the ceremonies.  Security will be as tight as can possibly be, as there will probably the threat of terrorist jerk-offs wanting to make their presence known as well.   I would, and intend, to steer clear until the week after, when all the hoopla dies down, and things return to normal.
