Insofar as getting spam in your e-mails, I haven't figured that one out yet, but if you use Yahoo, they can filter out most bulk mailings to a separate mail box and then you somply bulk erase them all.
I do not know about any of you but I am getting tired of clicking on a given web site that is posted with a review and getting a lot of pop up messgaes. In addition I am goeeting tired of receiving e-mail from the porn star sites and the sites they are linked with.

It seems to me you're discribing to different things: Popups and spam. There are a number of freeware apps available for download that will block popups. I suggest going to cnet.com and search on popup blockers. Read user comments and select accordingly. Spam maaybe a little tougher to block. Chekc with your ISP about spam filter or purcahse as specific spam blocking program.
