... they make for good war stories but that's about it. The escort scene is way better now. Would you like to go back to the time before electricity. I actually picked up street walkers. Or they picked me. Nothing amazing about that scene.

New York Magazine.  Back in the 1980s and 90s, New York Magazine had ads under "Massage" and "Role Play" that were great.  It's a classy magazine and,  I assume, the ads were more expensive than other publications so you could trust the advertisers to be more honest and fantastic.  It was my go-to place to find providers pre-internet and much more reliable than the Village Voice (which has since turned into Backpage and was equally untrustworthy).

Craigslist.  At the beginning of this century, CL's Erotic Services section was amazing.  Yes, it was like the wild west and you had to be careful because a lot of it was dangerous, but you could put an ad up for free and get a dozen responses--several of them really great.  I met a lot of college students this way and had a wonderful time.

The Harmony Burlesque.  This is hard to describe if never saw it.  It was the sleaziest strip club in New York City and everything and anything could happen there--or off-site, if the lady was willing.  A lot of really beautiful women, lots of Eastern Europeans, who liked working there because they could work whenever they wanted to and didn't have to pay taxes.  There will never be anything like it again.

I was at flashdancers the other night and it's gotten really liberal in there not to mention the street walkers are back in times square went out for a smoke and 3 different girls came up to me .  If you want to reminiss
Don't if you guys would know this but back in the day there were these 2 smoking hot blond the chicks that would pick guys up I. Front of  flashdancers in a yellow hummer 1 would be in the back you'd do your business while driving around that was fun

I think the original Harmony Theater was closer to Times Square (maybe 46th x 8th?) and called Melody Theater? I never knew that one.
.
But I knew the other sites in the lower East 20s and the other one in Tribeca. The sleaze was made tolerable by the presence of many hot and friendly girls. Not just E Europeans, but Latinas and a couple of Asians. Not far from the Tribeca Harmony (which closed at 2 AM), there was the Blue Angel which stayed open until 4 or 5 AM. Many dancers and customers would make the short trek from Harmony to Blue Angel at 2 AM.
.
I do miss the Harmony. BRING BACK THE HARMONY!
