Here's the thing.  I am exploring my wilder side and easing into the BDSM scene.  My thing is being Large and in Charge...I dunno, something happens when I put on those Domme boots!.. So here is my question.  I am truly perplexed by the constant requests for golden showers!  What is the turn on?  I can't wrap my mind around it.  It seems harmless enough, at least for the giver...throw him in the bathrub and let it rip...but can you please explain why it is such a popular request?

It's about humiliation.... The one getting showered on is looking for that humiliation, either being fully aware of what they are asking for or by a sub-conscience desire to be humiliated. These are often type a personalities outside of sessions. They have everything under control in their normal life and they are often the ones doing the humiliating, whether in business or their own personal life. So as a sort of personal penance, they ask to be pissed on.

Me, I don't like the idea of being pissed on. LOL! the idea of the smell and the taste is a total turn off. But... That's a pretty good understanding of the psychology, I think.  Personal penance, I like that.
The reason I am delving into this world is that most of my clients and the guys I date are type A, finanical services guys and yes, they are used to making all the decisions.  I used to make it their idea, now, hey, just do it!

I have always been open to giving golden showers.  I am not mystified by the activity of giving golden showers.  However, I have always been against receiving a golden shower.  Well, one day, in the recent past, I did receive a golden shower, after an intense sex match.  That round of intense sex was all traditional male/female romance.  Basically, it was what you could consider GFE with a golden shower at the end.  It was just on my breasts and torso; not in the mouth or face, but, I was actually really surprised at how gentle, soothing, sensual, and sexy it was.  It was just as sexy as en ejaculating cock.     I braced myself for feelings of humiliation, but I just did not have that psychological reaction.  I have only received a golden shower once, and it was in that "don't knock it til you try it" moment.  I don't regret it.  I even thought it was very sensual, which wasn't the reaction I expected to feel from getting pissed on.

Actually I don't completely agree. Perhaps for some it is humiliation but the few times I have experienced it it was a very intimate communication and greatly heightened our closeness. As a former animal behaviorist I can attest to the fact that urine plays a very important part of the mating ritual of many species. Also, just as an aside, urine is sterile (unless the person has a bladder infection) and is very good for cleaning out wounds if there is no pure water available.

I sort of don't get the question. No beef, Ivanka, no catch. For some it's just a way to "spice up" the plain vanilla path, which as sexy as it obviously is can also get a bit "routine."
