NY Health and Raquet Club - 45th btwn Lex and Third

Derek Jeters 24hrs Fitness on 53rd & Lexington (link bellow)

DJ Signature gym. Super nice!

Very convenient because is open 24 hours (except on weekends)

you're welcome - I did a tour of all good gyms with my daughter when she started school in NYC

My daughter is a gym rat (fitness figure type), so we did tour many gyms.

We went to Derek Jeter gym and it was super nice but the location was not good for her (we are on the West Side).

Now, if you are serious about working out and want a place that is one of the Manhattan best and hippest gyms (and you don't mind taking a train or walking to the West Side), then check Mark Fisher!

There are also good Equinoxes at 43rd and 5th, and at 44th and Lex (in Grand Central).  Which may be a little closer to 45th and Madison.  Perhaps not as nice as the Rock Center location (I haven't been there since it converted from an LA Sports Club).  But if you joined Equinox, you definitely wouldn't lack for choices at that location.

It is a workout started by a former Miami Heat dancer. It's my church. I go and recharge my womanly batteries once a week. Google it and maybe check out a class. They've started offering classes in NYC now ^__^
