I'm thinking of advertising there but not sure if it's a popular site.

ll those escorts are independent. They have their own websites, their own ads, their own reviews here on TER. Why pay for Gina's umbrella. What do you get out of it.

I myself have been thinking about using there site, I'm just not to sure how many hobbyist look there. I have been doing fine without it but it does look like a good avenue.

and I bet it started to get noticeable, I just looked at their Dallas Texas page where I live and in the past they averaged close to a hundred ads, today they have 42. Atlanta used to average over 200 ads in a typical day, they barely have a hundred. I don't check out NY too often, but I seem to recall you too used to average well over 200 ads on any given day, down to 135 today.

I think EROS was getting the worst of it, and finally smartened up.

From other posts, the consensus seems to be that most TER guys rely on
- TER Local Ad Boards
- TER Recent Reviews
- TER Photo Only
- TER Discussion Board (to read someone's personality)

The sequence is usually TER to TER Profile to Provider's Profile link.  Sometimes the GLS link is there, sometimes it goes straight to her personal website.  Rarely, if ever, will a TER guy start at GLS and then to go TER Reviews.

I think the key question about GLS and other sites is how well it brings in traffic from NON-ter guys. How many non-TER guys start with GLS, E**s, etc., and how many of them call, book, show up and pay?

It's hard to survey the non-TER guys using TER but other Providers might chime in about their TER/non-TER ratios.

You (Lana) can start at GLS, look up the Profiles of a few ladies who use it and contact them to ask how they think it works for them.

Do you (Lana) mostly see TER guys or non-TER guys? Are you trying to increase your exposure and appeal to non-TER guys

"Smartened up?"  u got me, GaGambler.  I always thought since it was an OBVIOUS competitor that LOGICALLY ter didn't want it mentioned here?

Funny u should bring up POPULARITY.  I always considered THEM the gold standard when it came to ad sites, if only because they featured MOSTLY legit and upscale pros (vs. BP or Craig's List).  If their popularity is declining like you said, WHERE is everyone going NOW?  TER is good for RESEARCH, but their selection of NEW pros is limited...

Thank u. I am trying to find out about no TER guys but so far only hobbyist have responded. I'm not yet on the provider only board. They require me to become more active on the boards first. Thank u

I think P 411 is kicking Eros's ass. P411 is almost one stop shopping. I can find a lady, find her reviews on all sites linked, be able to contact her with my own screening information in the way of my P 411 profile and okays and bam. Both of us can be assured about the other in a matter of minutes. It's a tough system to beat.

Eros was not always, nor are they now a competitor to TER. They did try to compete with TER but it looks like they got the worst of the deal and rethought their strategy. I think rethinking the decision to compete with TER was a wise move on their part.

They do a good job on Twitter sending out tweets of ladies on tour and what city and when, etc.  They seem pretty good at being up-to-date and getting announcements out.  TER sends out way too many photo tweets and their boards are a pain as you have to open every post and then usually another link to go to the ladies website and then another link to see pictures.
Also the ladies on GLS seem more willing to re-tweet messages so their followers will get your announcements which should get more people noticing you.
Now, if you don't tour and are pretty much NY based then Eros is the better choice.

I remember when folks used Cityvibe not long ago.  That seems to have gone downhill fast.
