I never even feel comfortable calling someone when they say its ok, cause you never know if the one time you text or call the SO is going to be sitting right there. However, I do agree with Waterclone except for the LE one lol, cause next thing you know they'll be posting that youre a cop or informant.

Random text messages are IMHO tacky and desperate as others have previously posted but the best thing to do is get a google voice phone number. Its free, easy, and will stop the problems.

I keep getting unsolicited texts from a certain set of providers that identify themselves as Sylvia and Briana. The text message came from (305) 766-7625, which is the number listed for Sylvia on Eros. Briana's number is (954)681-6722. I saw Briana a few months ago and that's when the texts started. I called and asked them to stop doing it and delete my info and sent texts to tell them to stop and delete my info. They deny that they have ever done it before and when I called they hung up on me. Just know that if you see either of these girls the same thing may happen to you.

I've also gotten other similar texts from other providers. What they all have in common is that they were advertising for European girls. Again, in those other situations I asked them to stop and they denied that they had ever done it before. So, I've decided that I am going to out any girl that sends me unsolicited texts from now on.

BTW my time with Briana was okay but certainly not worth this headache.

I would also like to propose that everyone out the providers who send unsolicited texts or emails. Discretion is key in this hobby and by saving our info and sending these unsolicited texts these gals are really putting us in jeopardy. Sine I have asked a number of times for them to stop and they just keep on doing it, it seems to me that they need to know that this behavior will effect their bottom line. So I think that we should out anyone who does this. Sylvia's pictures are below (her's is the number from which the texts came).

I've gotten unsolicited texts as well, but I don't recall if they were from either of these ladies. I can trace them back to one date I had with Eve Evans, who was one of the most overrated porn star providers I've ever seen.

Good to know. The one thing about waterclone's advice is that by outing the providers we can let other hobbyists know which providers do this.

First of all, you are right, they shouldn't send unsolicited texts.  However, it's a relatively minor offense.  I don't think it's worthy of a big list, and I think most people don't care about this issue.

Every hobbyist should have a separate phone number (either a pre-pay phone or something like a Google Voice number) for the hobby.  No one can "put you in jeopardy" if you are hobbying in a responsible manner.

If you want them to stop texting you, try some of these options.

1.  Call your provider and block their numbers.

2.  Respond to their txt messages saying "I can only afford $100/hour"  If you txt me back, I'll assume that rate is good with you.

3.  Tell them you are a cop, or that you will start forwarding all future txt messages to a friend of yours on the vice squad.

looks like these depend on if you don't plan on seeing them again, if you are it shouldn't be a HUGE issue. but discretion is key but also communication is valued in this industry. hell this world period. if its communicated that the text and/or emails are unacceptable and is not rectified then put them on blast.

I had a couple that text me when they were back in my area but i thought that was a level of common courtesy. Go figure.

Girls desperate of money . Totally unprofessional .

I take issue with Waterclone's approach.  One of the main purposes of this Board is to exchange information about providers.  Regardless of whether a hobbyist has a separate phone or not, it is unprofessional for a provider to send unsolicited texts.  In my view, if they are doing that, what else are they doing that does not demonstrate discretion?  We should share this information.  It has happened to me from one provider despite several requests to stop; as soon as I can remember who it was, i will post.

I am not sure why this is  such a problem, I believe that this is a common practice even for porn stars. I agree with the earlier post, if you don't want any more texts then follow the three steps.

Indy,

I think that you and waterclone are missing the point. Yes, we can protect ourselves by following the steps that waterclone suggested. But I would think that even someone with a burn phone would want to know that a particular provider is doing this kind of stuff. To em that's bad news and usually indicates that you might want to move on to someone else. I mean that is the point of this board to gather information. If we we're only interested in our own self-interest than we would not post reviews or get on the boards and exchange info. Plus on the chance that some provider is reading this she may think twice before doing the same thing. BTW, the person who said that doing this type of thing usually indicates other unprofessional behavior was right in this case. The girl who I saw was posting fake pics that only resemble her but aren't her. If I'd known that she would send me unsolicited texts I wouldn't have seen her and maybe would have seen someone real.

When I cross-checked the phone #'s you posted (both area codes are Dade/Broward county area in South Florida) against reviews, no reviews came up under either number.  Also, I noticed that you stated that other ladies texted you plugging European ladies.  Did the two you mentioned specifically do that as well, or just promoting themselves?  Are the area codes all from the same general vicinity?  Also, did you actually see Sylvia?  If not, how did she get your info?  Are you dealing perhaps with some agency or quasi-agency working behind the scenes that blast texts ads to everyone on their client list under several different #'s?  I admit this may be a stretch, but the lack of reviews for either lady, and the common theme, lead me to think in that direction.  If so, good luck getting them to stop...and don't count on them deleting your info, either.

Remind me again why I only see ladies that are either well reviewed, or meet an M&G's that can be vouched for.  Happy hobbying!

The texts I received said that Sylvia and Brianna were available and it made it sound like it was directly from them. Now that could still have been an agency pretending to be the girls themselves. The number from which the texts were made was Sylvia's number but I know I saw Briana. Its possible that I saw someone previously who used Sylvia's number but I know I never saw Sylvia. But remember the text talked about both of them so they are clearly affiliated so that would explain how Sylvia got my number when I only ever saw Brianna. These unsolicited texts have always identified european ladies. I only recently started keeping track of who they were from so I can't identify anyone besides Sylvia and Brianna.  Definitely going to use Google voice from now on or maybe get a burn phone before I start hobbying again with anyone who isn't reviewed or that I haven't seen already.

BTW, its pretty clear to me based on my experience that only a small fraction of providers would ever do this in the first place.
