It would seem from the National Board that Emma has left or retired or something. Her website ahs diasappeared. Anyone have any idea what's happened to her?

We dont need to email our favorites, or our hobbying friends. Its all about keeping it in perspective.
Some girls use retiring as a marketing scheme, some just do it.
Right or wrong way.....no rules no protocol for a gal to leave the biz/retire, she can do what she wants, when she wants and how she wants.
The way I hear it, is that some become nurses, some become web designers, and as a pretty lil redhead said some "just do it" (which I assume means that they got a job with Nike)

We dont get into this because we have no degrees, or no college education. We get into it because we enjoy what we do thoroughly. However the hobby ( on both ends ) is not too enjoyable anymore..

It really shouldnt be the case.
Its fun on both sides. It always has been.
Now with a world of screening, freaks, thugs, muggers, killers.. sometimes it just isnt fun.

its the men that do things the right way, that keep most girls in it and persuing it. You my dear,are a pillar of the hobbying community and are one of the good guys. If they were all like you, (and others come to mind here ).. no one would have a single problem.

Her "So long-- and thanks for all the fish" hurts for its terseness. However, I think for Emma, it was probably a longer statement than she originally had in mind.
As I said, I hope she didn't leave sullenly from our lifestyle, feeling disgusted or disillusioned. (Though she apparently felt that way about the NY board.) I had noticed her posts were very sparse for the last month, and I did wonder about that. I was thinking of PMing her just because that made me curious and a little concerned.
