TrollDetector is an alias, too. Also don't forget that not all aliases are used for flaming. Some are used for humor. Some are used to protect the poster from an embarassing or dangerous situation or to ask for sensitive advice. If you are known to providers by your handle, there are times when you need anonymity. And, yes, sometimes aliases are used by gutless flamers. In short, they are a necessary evil. Bottom line, they are not going away.
