Jersey Boys and Phantom of the Opera are great. Pure Food and Wine is my favorite restaurant here- though admittedly- I haven't tried all that many places! Sadly, I am leaving town in a couple days for a wee bit so I will be missing you. I love a show and dinner and fun. But there are PLENTY of NYC hotties who will rock your world.
In town this week for the first time in many years. Cats and Les Mis were the tops then. What shows are worth my time at the moment. Is Spiderman bad enough to see just because how bad it is?
Any ladies interested in a show and dinner? Always hate eating alone.

Spiderman a great big crazy fun show now, and you sit there grinning at what's great and at what's not so great. You sit down knowing the history and you feel like you are a part of something insane when you are watching the show. Its a very inclusive experience, and when its over, everyone I know who has gone has said they in no way regretted seeing it. That being said, the Book of Mormon daily lottery is the way to get into that show without paying 500. The new Follies is worth seeing because of the star power, especially if you have never seen Bernadette Peters onstage, in person. Rock of Ages is a similar, fun, silly show ala Spiderman. War Horse at Lincoln Center is the show of the year tho, and a film version from Spielberg opens this Xmas, altho its based on the book and not the theatrical play. You cannot go wrong with War Horse. Also worth a look and worth the half price tkts on TDF website and at TKTS in Times Sq is Cirque du Soleil's Zarkana @ Radio City.
Memphis is extraordinarily entertaining and during the finale, the entire audience gave a standing ovation and continued clapping and stomping their feet to the music and the beat. No one wanted to leave the theater. Also, Bette Midler's Priscilla Queen of the desert is worth the price of admission. I also loved Million Dollar Quartet based upon a true evening that Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins met at a studio and did their songs..It was like watching the original performers. I have always loved Brooke Shields ever since her early acting debut in the movie Pretty Baby. I have seen all her shows and recently saw the Adams Family. I was surprised to truly enjoy it. It's very campy and over the top with great rock star musical performances and down to earth comedy. And lest I forget, Rock of Ages rocked me back to see it a second time. Many of these shows are available at the TDF Box office for half price on Broadway and W. 47th Street within a few hours before show time. New York, New York is a wonderful town.
