I know this post really belongs on the General Discussion board but I thought I would spread the word to my friends in NYC (where I have gone on the majority of my dates).

During a session yesterday that was anything but stellar (review being looked at now by TER staff now), the provider told me that she uses various names, phone numbers, photos and sites to attract guys.  Not shocking - but here is the fun part.  In one of her ads on BP, she invites you to check out her TER reviews (which were not great and I didn't schedule a session because of it).  In another ad (posted on the same day), she uses a different name photos and number and there were no reviews under that infomation.

As an experienced hobbyist, I should have known better than to book without reviews.  Serves me right.

IMHO, this is a B&S - with a twist.

Guys - Has anyone else enountered this?  Ladies - do you often use more than one name/number?

I have to disagree with this statement, especially if you're in NYC.  TER is not the end-all be-all of hobbying.  There are a lot of luxury providers who are exceptionally good at what they do, yet they aren't listed here.  I've even have some of them request that reviews of our sessions not be written.  Beyond that, though, somebody has to start somewhere.  If we all avoided unreviewed providers....

I have seen in some of the girls posting that write "check my reviews" but once I look at their reviews they are either average or plain bad reviews. I wonder why brag about it! But maybe girls are:
1. Bluffing
2. Banking on Lazy/blind-by-hornyness  hobbyists that won't check and trust those words
2. Those with no access to VIP info
Always do your homework! Always!

I agree.....and not all hobbyist are going to take the time to post a review.

Girls at such a low price generally come with an added cost.  In your case, it seemed to be an unfulfillng performance.  But it can often be much worse.  

IMHO, gentlemen of means should splurge when it comes to this hobby without a second thought.  It's worth it.  Gentlemen of lesser means should refrain from seeing 4 or 5 of these cheap girls and have a blast with someone who charges what these experiences are really worth!  lol.  

Seriously, I hope the next review is a 10/10.  I know how frustrating these things can be.  Thanks for sharing.  

The answer is basically 2. Simply by having a review and being acknowledged by TER as being a legit provider is enough for some. The fact that they don't actually read the review, I agree, is ridiculous. But providers with a poor review history post ads promoting the fact that they're TER reviewed all the time. They're not stupid—it helps generate business.
