It's just not an issue. It's actually kinda cute. :)

the door greetings? what I do is usually hide my body but peer my head out and the reason is simply because I'm wearing lingerie or something similiar that I would not want anyone that is passing in the hallway to see. Why do so many guys get offended by this? I dont under stand.

What straight guy gets offended by girls hiding behind the door?  Do you have a wimpy men on  estrogen therapy for clientele?

to say anything but I read this often on the boards. Like, the guy will post somehting like " yeah, the usual hide behind the door greeting." with a negative connotation. It seems like they feel that the girl is being sneaky or something? I dunno.

Naked behind the door would work for me, and if you greet me that way I will surely write something positive about it in my review.

Makes sense to me and actually is sexy. So what are they asking for instead...

that you are not going to meet me at the elevator wearing your sexy bra & panties...greet me with a big sensual DFK and lead me back to your room?  Why , that's just rude !  LOL....What kind of idiot does not expect or wish for the lady to remain behind the door when being invited into the room.  I can not believe this is even an issue.  Male stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

I don't get offended, but if I had a choice, I would prefer to see the providers face before entering the room. That way if her pictures are fake or old, I can just run for the stairs. Coming inside, taking a piss in the bathroom, and then pretending that I left my wallet in my car is extremely annoying and awkward.

It's just not an issue. It's actually kinda cute. :)

Yeah, hiding behind the door is cute...but not if you keep me waiting out in the hall indefinitely with the cleaning people walking around and eyeing me...then I gets a bit paranoid so ladies, please try not to do that...thanks!

Just about every lady I have ever seen does this.  Usually, you ladies are dressed in lingerie when we arrive, and it is obviously not a smart idea to show that off to any passers by in the hallway.  Then again, it's been a long time since I last met a lady for the first time that I had not previously met at an M&G, so unlike many who apparently are playing pot luck with minimally or unreviewed BP or Eros ladies, I know who's behind the door.   Knowing how to hobby, and who to hobby with, are good things...

I have resorted to using established agencies since the massive boom of ladies advertising has taken place in escort malls. I used to be able to pick the good one, but even with my experience, I was getting fooled by escort mall ADs. So I stopped using escort malls to find independents and simply relied on established agencies. That choice has worked for me in light of my need to remain discreet about my participation in the hobby.

I'm not sure anybody's getting offended, and I think it's possible you're reading too much of that negative connotation into those posts.  At worst, they're probably just a comment on how common this type of welcome is.

What I do care about is when I knock and she takes what seems fore-ever to open the damned door. I am discreet when I come to a lady's room, I don't come there when other people are in the hallway. I don't like it at all when a lady is slow to open the door and other people approach me in the hallway, or a maid comes out of a room that is being cleaned back to the supply cart. The frigging provider has verified me, I want her to open the damned door and get me out of the hallway asap.
