As it would happen, I have been asked to replace Blur as Moderator of the NY Discussion Board, and, effective immediately, I have accepted the job.

I am hoping that I can fill Blur's shoes, as I believe he was as good as it gets as a Moderator.  I'll certainly give it my best shot.  And, of course, my thoughts and prayers are with Blur in this difficult time for him.

I will always try my best to be impartial in what limited judgement is allowed me in this position, and if anyone has any questions or issues that I may be of assistance with, do not hesitate to PM me.

One of the downside with being a moderator is that no more reviews can be posted so it would be a while before you hit the 100 review mark. Lol. (Not that you care about things like that anyway.)

I do want to say thanks to Blur for a job well done.  It is hard to be a moderator with all the demand on time and occasionally contentious personalities.

Your a natural for this role Forti as I for one have appreciated your commentary and private e-mail assistance over the past several months. The drawback as I see it is your inabilty to post reviews which is bad for us fellow hobbyists but overall its great to see that NYC TER board moderation remains in good hands.
So a warning to all you "rift raft" out there... better not waste your time posting!... cause our man Forti's on the job.

Congratulations as the new king of the castle. While this is an honor, you may be overqualified. I may be selfish and please take this as it is meant to be but the members need you scouting out there and making the reviews.
I feel abosulutely horrible about Blurs situation, no doubt about that. Who's going to take your place as the "master" reviewer ?
You have prevented myself, and I am sure many others from having lousy experiences and wasting our hard earned dollars. Never mind the good recommendations. Myself, one-way and a handful of others will be ok I am sure thanks to your help.
My concern now is for some other new people who maybe coming on board.
Anyway,enough of my moaning, LOL ! Some of this is tongue in cheek.
Now a suggestion, I think the Vegas boards are much better than the NY board mostly because so many nice providers participate. The only providers I see here are for the most part looking to advertise.
If you could encourage a few to participate like the Vegas gals do, it would be great.
