PM from a provider at Julie's

I received a PM from a provider at Julie's that I previously reviewed thanking me for my review, informing me that Julie's is closed, and giving me an e-mail address if I wanted to contact her.  Has anyone else received such a PM?  Any thoughts on legitimacy?

I too received one.  As much fun as I had with the provider in question and as much as I would like to see her again, NO WAY am I touching this, at least not now.

It may be 100 percent legit, but in the current climate, I'd rather not take a chance.....not yet anyway.

I received 2 of those messages today.  It seemed clear to me the ladies (or someone) looked up their reviews on TER and sent e-mails to the reviewers.  With everything going on, I would proceed with caution.  Some how, both of these ladies came up with the same idea at the same time.  I hope its legitimate.  If I follow up, I will ask some questions about personal information concerning the provider only the real provider will know how to answer.

Yes, I got one and she thanked me for the review and wants to meet. I am afraid just meeting her will enable her to identify me and whammy--just like Law&Order--NYPD everywhere, "Cuff him and Mirandize him" and forced to testify against Julie. I don't know what to do, except to plan some sort of open air meeting, walking against traffic, feeling her bra to make sure she doesn't have a wire. I am open to suggestions, but frankly, I don't think it's worth it.

I just recieved two PM's from so called former Julie providers. Both are obvious LE trying to lure you in for a bust for testimony against Julie. These are the two TER usernames you should very leary of who sent me those PM's. "sambyjulie" and "TANMAN2946". Any hobbyist entertaining the thought of a meeting based on these LE PM's does not have an once of intelligence.

From today's Daily News is the unpleasant answer to your longing:

"Sex-den doyenne Julie Moya, 47, was being held on $500,000 bail last night as cops and FBI agents squeezed her to give up her big-name johns and scoured her computerized client list, sources said." and "Prosecutor Matthew Bassiur said Moya was 'well aware'some of her prostitutes were underage, including a 15-year-old cooperating with investigators."

Cops squeezing Julie for johns and scouring her computerized client list. A "15 year old" cooperating. No.

You guys are pretty LAME, First off if the NYPD has the brains to send you aPM  they already have the Brains to SUBPEONA  your complete IDsp # and everything else from your Internet provider, secondly  since they already BUSTED Julie I don't think they NEED more evidence, what more do they NEED?  They had to have something to get a search and arrest warrant, Third  Julie was in BIZ for over 10 yrs I would imagine they have cultivated enough in that time, Prostitution is a Misdeamenor and since you weren't observed or caught in the act what are they going to do  threaten you?  Maybe you need to watch Sipowicz a little More :-)  Just my 2 cents  give me her email I go visit her :-)

You don't reply to aliases and non-reviewers? Well, you just did. Why didn't you just keep your trap shut. Couldn't resist, huh big shot? You and the other three or four guys, always needing to inject your useless comments and blow hard opinions on everything and everyone....

i don't think law enforcement is really gonna spend the time on catching johns.  just doesn't pay when they can go after the big time providers.  so i think you are safe!

I would say that there's a 95% chance that the pm was from the provider who previously worked at Julie's. Now, the problem with that is that I see a 5% chance of it being someone else. I can't see LE setting up a paid account just to pm guys to try to arrange a meeting and then bust them. It's seems too complicated. If they wanted to go that route, then why not collect IP addresses and then subopena the IP carriers for the information on the guys who did the reviews? Honestly, I can't really even see that happening. They would be busting guys based on reviews that were written. They can't prove any reviews on this site ever took place. Maybe we all just have good imaginations. What about the guys who write fake reviews just to keep a VIP membership? There would be too many loopholes for LE to even bother with this.

The pm could have been sent by someone who was just looking to start some sh*t. It could be harmless, but it would get people talking about how LE may be involved with the board. LE may read all 3 of boards, but to say that they are participating is a push. I can't see it happening.

With all of this being said, I would still stay away from emailing the provider in question. IMHO it should be ok, but there is a 5% chance that it may not be. With all the busts going on lately I wouldn't suggest taking any chances. Wait for her to come out with an Eros or Cityvibe ad and then try to contact her. Good Luck!

I would caution against posting her name on the board.  It appears she doesn't want it posted and is only contacting people she has previously seen.  Given the situation, lets respect that.

Why would the ladies cooperate with LE?  They would only be up for minor misdeamenor charges, if that, unless they were caught in the act.  If they have any ambition to continue in this business, cooperating would kill that idea.  So why would they cooperate?  Nevertheless I agree caution is in order.

jc48757........you hit the nail right on the head. Some people just got to be in the limelight. Fabricating, make up stuff.....anything to cause a rumble. Did I say rumble? I meant, FUMBLE!

Any julies provider who would like to work at my apartment as a housecleaner, I will hire you for that.  Once you arrive, and I know it's you, I will put all my "housecleaning equipment" in your hands.

If it is 'Ellie May' PM ing you, whatever they manage to conceive by entrapping you will be hard pressed to prove in the Julies case. Meaning, they can't run a sting on you now, and use it on Julie, since they have already closed her down. It would be hard to prove that Julie helped arrange that meeting when she is already in custody. If they wanted to do that, they would have entrapped you before they took Julies down. So, worst case, logically, if it is Ellie, it's not going to help the Julies case.

However, they did arrest so many of her ladies, that who knows what is going on with that. Maybe they would like to show how the named Johns were continuing with those ladies, and the validity of the names on the list.

Who the heck knows, but I would stay away for at least a few months, and after all of the cases have developed.

NY is essentially closed down.

LE sting? How could some of you be so ignorant? The girls who pm'd us are just trying to rustle up some business after Julie's, that's all.
