Mod- where have all of Julia Cutie's reviews disappeared to??
I've noticed various providers disappearing from the data base (see Claire Lafemme in D.C.). I've writen emails but no response. Is there something about these providers that should keep me away? What's up with TER?

Julia's eros ad has been temporarily taken off for updating. Tried to tell TER folks that you can access her pics thru the following:

Have not gotten any response from for the last two days. Don't know whether these guys at TER have become sticklers for genuine websites. Trying to "cut off us at the hip or below" I would say.

So what does everybody else say!

I don't think it's because the ad is off Eros. Other providers like Claire in D.C. and others have also been pulled and the staff at TER refuses to give any explanation. Pure arrogance!!
If there's something wrong with the provider then let us know. If not, put the reviews back up!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are right! If you do a search for Julia in New York, you will find that there are seven reviews. The last two dated 1/20/02 and 7/8/01. Person is no longer around or their associated ad has disappeared. The 7/8/01 situation is the same as Julia Cutie's eros connection, her ad has temporarily disappeared. When you click to go to eros, you will find nothing.

So what gives TER? Policy a little inconsitent?

This has happened to 3 providers I know personally.  I have asked for clarification on the boards local to tghose providers and also on the policy board asking why this hapens for no apparent reason.  To TER's credit, 1 girl's records were almost immediately recovered, but that was because the site listed for her was an ad on a mall, and the ad had expired.  I placed a problem report (you can do that on each provider's record, at the top of the screen there's a button, and the next day she was back.  Still no word, almost a week later, on the others, and still no reply to my request for information on the Policy Board.  I am beginning to think that not only is this unfair to the girls, but to us as members, who take the time to write reviews and strengthen TER's position in the marketplace without the courtesy of an explanation.

Any chance that we have a conspiracy going? Like no cookie unless we have some "nookie?" On another board who shall go nameless, you hear from time to time the phrase "backchannel." Of course that can mean anything from trading hobbyist's e-mails directly to each other, using a proxy to dip the toe in the waters for a buddy, to whatever else your imagination can come up with. Another thought is getting even with a provider for whatever reason you can come up with. With ALL due respect, I'm willing to give the TER boys the benefit of the doubt. But at the same time, how is it possible that a set policy can be applied so un-equally? Now that is probably the bigger question. Is everybody being treated on the same playing field?

You raise the same questions that arose in my mind. I, too am willing to give TER the benefit of the doubt.  It's far and away the best resource on the 'Net, and I for one would hate to lose them as a resource.  But at the same time, it's we, the reviewers, that empower TER.  And as such there is a sort of partnership here, and I believe that if TER removes a providers records with good reason, they should be able to tell us what that good reason is.  On the other hand, there should be no bad reason to remove a record.
