The 1st told me she was taking classes to become a professional chef

The 2nd told me she had just moved into a new apartment

Both said it was the PERFECT gift.

A gift card will work well.  Don't be be cheap in the amount, though.  C-note at least, and/or offer to take her out for dinner as well.   If you do that, it should be under the auspices of her 4 hr. dinner date provisions.  Make sure also that you give her a card that's personalized.
