I used to like AMPs. THe women are often beautiful- Price-wise they are great but moreover, never a cancellation and always a decent massage and shower even if the rest is no higher than a 7.  But for sometime now I can't get myself to go anymore.  I feel like I am exploiting these women.  They don't speak much English and while they definitely practice safe sex, I still worry about the 'volume' of customers they see.  Am I being ridiculous or do others feel this way?

Why do you think you are exploiting them?  (Expand on your thoughts.)

Actually, I have a different question, as I like AMP's.

Anyway, where is a good website / forum to be able to check out different AMPs in the general area?

HootOwl...thanks for taking my query seriously.  OK, here are some reasons:

1] Most of the women are actually 'girls' very young (~18 barely?).  SOme of course are older but still quite young.  
2] Very little English--probably here on questionable grounds
3] Again...they have a 'high volume' of clients---perhaps too high.
4] I am not sure they are taken care of properly (i.e. brought to clinics, checked up enough, etc.)
5] I am not sure they make enough after sharing with the mammasan.

I am curious as to how they ended up doing AMP work as most seem to have arrived several months ago from the orient (usually Korea) and went straight to the parlor.  

Maybe I am wrong on this 'guilt' but I could not bring myself to go anymore.
Maybe I have gotten used to the attitudes of an indie or a woman who has 'another' job as well.  SHe has a choice.  DO these girls?  I don't know.

Actually, a perusal of the TER reviews and this message board shows that the widespread practice of AMP owners using fake names and fake reviews to shill for their AMP's has resulted in AMP's exploiting their customers.  Only the obvious fakery of the reviews has prevented hundreds of innocent hobbyists from this cruel exploitation.

If xenopus actually goes to AMP's, he is one of the daring few--like those who would eat crawfish from the Mekong River in Saigon.

I was fortunate enough to have once lived with a Korean woman who briefly worked at a "rub and tug" AMP for several months. I would suggest that Koreans and the Japanese have a different set of mores on sex compared to what we have here in the US.  Unfortunately, I would suspect that the majority of NYC amp providers are working here under tenuous immigration status conditions, and therefore considered to be indentured servants or sexual slaves. BTW, the Korean woman that I lived with, worked at a massage parlor because of her limited ability to speak English; she wasn't forced to work there. And after seeing her as a customer several times I asked her if she would like to live with me.
