I think she means Dubai.  The Muslim country that is part of the United Arab Emirates.  I have never spent time there, but from what I understand, as a woman you will have little to no rights there.  When out in public, outside of a tourist hotel/resort area you will have to wear a hijab and wear modest clothing.  Not sure of the laws governing the place, but personally I wouldn't go anywhere near the Middle East right now, or ever actually.  As a woman and a courtesan, IMHO you are flirting with disaster.  Potentially big bucks if you catch the eye of one of the ruling class, but you would be in his power the entire time you were there.

I don't know much about Dubai, but they look the other way when there are white, non-muslim women involved.  LOTS of women go there, especially European women.

But I think fears about the place are overblown and lots of providers go there.  One I knew personally was sent there by an infamous, now closed agency and made a lot of money.  Unfortunately, she wired some of it back, which tipped off the Feds.  Bear in mind that any wire transfer of $4K or more will be noticed.  The Feds aren't really looking to bust hookers but will pass the info on to local LE.  So any girls who go overseas should not wire the money back.

I was in Dubai many times on vacation and I saw how it works there, girls sits in the hotels bars and meet men there, they drink and dance. Prices there are not any higher than in NY, competition is huge from Russia and Yes arab men like bigger women with big natural boobs and long blond hair. Also it will take time to get into the scene. Nobody will hurt you or anything like that, men there are educated, good looking and generous. If you want just to see a new country and maybe make some money you can go. There is a best shopping in the world. Hotels are so beautiful and new, Atlantis hotel is worth seeing.

From what I hear its pretty lucrative, but the penalties are high if you get into trouble.

I can't believe i misspelled Dubai ( i think it is a scathing indictment of the American School System) and my spell check did not help. Seriously thank you all so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. The person was a regular who was not offering to get me started but just voiced his opinion that i might do well there because i am a blonde.  I really have not traveled much and it sounded like an exciting adventure for a week or so.  

But i am very happy with the great men i have met in both NYC and Boston so who has time to travel.

That's in the Middle East.  They don't like us there...

I used to live there. Did a lot of research on prostitution in Dubai, actually (mostly interviews!). It's such a fascinating place--the juxtaposition of East and West.

The most poignant image I have is of a Sheikh flanked by two blondes, his beer in front of him, a cigarette in one hand, and prayer beads in the other. It's a deceptive place...looks Western, but isn't.  

The girls' stories range from coming over in promise of nanny jobs, having their passports confiscated and being forced to work as a prostitute in a local hotel bar-until they made enough to pay back their flight ticket (which is never, because they get fines for everything and keep like .00009% of what they make) to local Emirati woman making over $10k an hour.  

I assume you would fall somewhere in the middle. Obviously, the risks are higher--but so are the rewards. Getting clients is easy if you know where to go and where to "advertise" (used to be expats.com--don't know if that's still the case). In reality--I wouldn't go alone. When I lived there I was lucky to meet a "helper" who I'm still friends with a decade later.  We used to pick up girls at the local bars known for prostitution...was a great time.
