Hello NY!!!
I have a question...
I'm HORRIBLE with direction and location when it comes to NYC.
In California, 5 miles away from a central location is nothing and takes a few minutes to get there but I figure it's another story in NYC

My main question is:
I found THE best deal on a 2 story house  with jacuzzi bath tub, fire place and everything that is so much better than a hotel experience.
This house is located in N.bergen 4.6 miles from time square.

It is completely out of the way or is it a good location overall?

I don't want to go head and rent it of no one can even get to it without a drag.

Inputs much appreciated!

Thank you!

5 miles in NYC may as well be on Mars. Plus N Bergen is across the river in Jersey. Trust when I say this, get location in the city, midtown if possible.

I agree with joe.  It will severly limit your clients to be outside nyc.
Preferably midtown.

I'd suggest you stsy in NYC.  Jersey is difficult to get to if you want to see gents working in the city.

See this famous picture in New York Magazine by Saul Steinberg.

Jersey isn't out of the way, for the jersey market.

Kiss me,

Kate

I don't mean to be rude, but you might as well be in Providence (actually worse since I know I can get to Providence on Amtrak).  I would go to Brooklyn, I would go as far North as the top of Central Park.  I would go as far west as the Hudson River, but I wouldn't go to Jersey or to Queens or the Bronx.  And I've never even been to Staten Island (other than the ferry terminal).
