What to do?  An UTR provider that I used to see quite frequently about 8 years ago has moved into my apartment building - with a husband and baby!!

Do you need help wiping your ass and tying your shoelaces too?  Sounds like you're struggling with adulthood over there.  

You said she is UTR provider you saw 8 years ago, i assume you don't see her anymore, and i assume she retired hence she has husband and a baby?   if that's true, then yea i would definitely respect her privacy, and from my experience, i would say 99% or 100% all provider have very good memory and they remember their client.  She has already show you the respect for not saying anything or react differently when she saw you in the building.

Too late for that.  I was one of the Co-op board members that interviewed her and her husband when they purchased.  I didn't recognize the name b/c she's using her husband's last name.  She immediately took charge, and introduced me to her husband as an old family friend - I'm about 15 years older.  I've seen them in the building from time to time, and we have just said hello to each other.

Should be less awkward than living in the same building with someone you went to high school with, right?

You said your on the co-op board. It would hurt you a lot if you're outed. I would keep my distance and be careful during chance encounters with said hooker and husband. The last thing you need is a rumor saying a board member approved a hooker and posted about it on a fuck board. I'm assuming you said yes to their purchase?  Just be careful and don't say anything stupid to hooker and husband or they got you by the balls. I will say, the hooker played her hand  fairly well and outed you to her husband and forced you to comply unwillingly. (Hooker +1, Approving Board Member -1).

In this business, you'll run into people when you least expect to and when it's the least convenient. For whatever reason, a lot of coincidental run-ins happen in NYC. With her being retired and you no longer seeing her in the provider capacity,  your interaction with her will obviously be different and more distant. If it bothers one of you enough, one of you will ultimately need to move.

Not married, and I wouldn't hobby if I was.
