A buddy told me about a site he found a few weeks ago and thought I should take a look...the site dieselsladies.com with a link to heydirtygirl.com.
I checked it out and on the heydirtygirl site I saw what I feel is one of the most disgraceful pictures I have ever seen...a girl with the American flag in her A**.
As an American, who served for 6 years,  I am to say the least very offended, as is my buddy.
With all that is going on this is NO way to show support for the BRAVE men and women who are serving this country in iraq and around the world.
It does not matter if you agree or not with the situation in iraq or any place else. Shoving an American Flag up your A** is not the way to show patriotism, or support for our troops. It's just deplorable.
My fellow Americans please opine.
And it does not matter to me if you behave or not.
Thank You

Right now, the biggest flag-soiler of all resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  This lying asshole has not earned your "My country, right or wrong" patriotism.

Sorry but I will always have the my country right or wrong attitude. I believe in backing my country right or wrong. Its the same way I feel about my family. Right or wrong I back up my family. Someone in my family can committ murder right in front of me and I will tell the police/judge and all who ask that I saw nothing.

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled over and over again, that   the First Amendment guarantees the right to express  acts or speech that would be deemed objectionable by even 99% of the American population.  The litmus test is whether such speech or acts are likely to lead to imminent violence.  One of the first cases that established this was Brandenberg v. Ohio that dealt with Klansman having a rally, and another one was Cohen v. Calif. in which a Vietnam war protester wore a leather jacket in a courthouse that has "Fuck The Draft" written on it.  The US Supreme Court upheld his right to express his opinion, as offensive as it may be to some people.

In a similar vein, It's also important to remember that the Supreme Court has also drawn a distinction between pornography and obscenity.  See you tomorrow class!!  :)

Sequoia, I'm with you....  George W,  Dick Cheney, and Donnie Rumsfeld are more dangerous than Sadam Hussein.  Iraq was/is a secular nation that had no interest in aiding Islamic extremists such as those who were responsible for 9/11.   Hussein was a dictator drunk with power.  In a major public opinion poll, a majority of American's thought the terrorists responsible for 9/11 attacks were from Iraq.  None of them were.  Most were from Saudi Arabia and the others from Yemen. If Bush wanted to invade Iraq, then he should have done so for the right reasons which would have been for humanitarian reasons rather than trying to gain support from the American people by preying upon their fear of terrorism.  Bush is nothing more than a political puppet with Cheney's and Rumsfeld's hands up his ass making his mouth move.

Cheney and the Halliburton oil "bidness" cronies are completely sold out to the Saudi royals.  That's the reality of their sympathy for 9/11 victims.

please remember the 100's of 1000's of dead iraqies in mass graves who were the son's, husband's or father's of some broken souls why cry in silent suffering at the loss of loved ones. We rescued the Jewish and others from the Nazis in the late 40's What is so different from helping other victims of terror.Who are being persicuted and tortured.I hope it is not because they were Arabs..  America is based on giving helping hands to the worlds needy and stepping in and protecting the weak. What did Bush do so wrong helping end the suffering in Iraque...
I love America and Bush has  balls that was long needed, and he stood up against the UN and said i will rescue these people from this horror..

Yes its heart breaking we have lost American soildiers, but as a mother i would bless my child and cry sigilent  tears  for stepping in to help what we beleive is the right thing to do for our country. And i would support and pray they would come home  safe.I would not sleep till they returned safe to my care.  But if they lost their life in the line of the duty they choose i would forever be broken inside but respect my childrens choice to serve our country...   As a soilder we choose to defend our nation.

so please no bashing on this it is a sad enough loss for everyone involved...There is to much fighting onthis .. lets leave it to the political board.. Please

Peace to all.. live and respect we all have feelings that we  may have differ but when in comes to our country and President we must unite..As its our children, and loved ones over there..

GOD BLESS AMERICA..
And Bush i stand in your camp..

Cheney, Bush, and Haliburton help Bin Laden's relatives escape.  The Bush's and the Cheney's have long standing ties to the Royal Saudi families.  OIL OIL OIL  MONEY MONEY MONEY    These people are so fucking corrupt, I don't know how they put their heads on their pillows at night and go to sleep.  This administration is comprised of some of the most corrupt and heartless individuals who have ever served in public office.  I'm so tired of hearing people rant about Bill Clinton getting a fucking blow job in the oval office.  Especially from married TER members who do the same things, only they don't sit in the oval office.  Big fucking deal.  That was his own private business that did not compromise the interests of the American public.  Suck this Dick (Cheney).

So if you lived in Nazi Germany in the late 30s or early 40s, you would stand my your country, right or wrong, and allow millions of Jews and others be sent to the death camps because you support your country right or wrong.  I guess that attitude makes it easy for you to make decisons in life or death situations.

It took a lot of courage for the Unabomber's brother to turn him in to the FBI.  Are you saying he was wrong to do so?
A lot of people see him as a hero and a brave man for making the choice to turn in his brother.

You also seem to subsribe to the "morality of the moment" with no consistent belief system.  You back your country, right or wrong.  But then you admit you would commit perjury before a judge to save a guilty family member.  That is not backing your country which is founded upon laws of fairness, equity, and the honesty of its citizens.  So you would back your country until it serves your own selfish purposes, then that moralistic attitude about backing your country, its laws, and founations becoming meaningless.

You should be embarassed to call yourself an American.

These discussions do not need to be banished and isolated on the politics board.  No one reads those boards.  There are four pages.  Who reads it?  No one.  And these are issues that are important to everyone on which we need an active and lively discussion, debate, and dialogue.

This war in Iraq wasn't about ending the suffering of the Iraqi people or weapons of mass destruction.  This was about Bush's re-election in 2004.  It was about oil.  It was about deception and sleight of hand magic to turn our attention away from Bush's record on the economy, civil right, the environment, a woman's right to choose, and more.  You cannot compare Sadam Hussein to Hitler.  To do so is to disgrace the millions of lives lost as a direct result of Hitler's commands. With the exception of Kuwait, Hussein never invaded another country.

Just because some arrogant and self-righteous American politicians think Democracy is right for every country, does that mean we go to war and invade other countries THAT DO NOT POSE ANY IMMINENT THREAT to spread our political beliefs?  The situation in Iraq is worse now than it has ever been.  More innocent Iraqi civilians are dying everyday since Bush launched his personal attack to finish a job his daddy didn't.  More innocent Iraqi civilians are dying and suffering under the command of George W. Bush than under the command of Sadam Hussein.  More than 600 Americans dead already.  And how many more to go?  And for what?  So Dick Cheney's former company Haliburton can get the multi-billion dollar contract to restructure and modernize the infrastructure of the Iraqi oil industry?  And don't forget, the Bush family also made it's fortune in the oil business.

Remember Bush standing on the aircraft carrier in front of a cheering crowd almost a year ago declaring the majority of the conflict in Iraq was over?  The situation is worse than ever.  Bush may not be gettting blow jobs in the oval office, but he sure is fuck us all in the ass every day without even the kidness of a reach-around.
