As a guy (but one who has been a patron of the arts for over a decade) my first piece of advice is that back page probably won't yield the results you desire if you advertise only there. IMHO, that tends to be low rent.  You probably would get better results by adding in periodic posts on the TER ad board with links to an actual web site with quality photos.  

As for location, this was the topic of a thread over the weekend, and the answer is it depends.  If you want to focus upon visiting businessmen, then you probably can rely upon their hotel rooms.  If you want  prosperous locals (read mid 30s and up, probably married and who want an appointment during day or early evening so that it fits into the work day) then you probably want an incall location.  If you get your business rolling, you can do the math on the costs.

On the incall vs. outcall point, a personal note.  I recently switched exclusively to a body rub location precisely because I wanted an easy incall option, and didn't want to engage in the scramble of finding a lady I wanted to see and then trying to figure out where to meet if no incall location.  So, I found a body rub lady I REALLY like a lot and I stick with her.  No, she isn't f/s, but I know that so long as I enjoy my time with this masseuse (and I do quite a lot, see my review), I always know where we are meeting.  I can make a call and be in the door within a couple of hours.   So, for me an in cal location matters A LOT.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Advertise here or on Eros.  Given recent events, working for an agency is not advisable.  As for location, you'll do better in NYC if you provide an incall.  Here's a link to a site where you can find inexpensive rooms at good hotels that are available at day rates.  Good luck.

I am a 20 yo girl new to this country , I will be back  before January , I have many question ls and  I want to work as independent , the first thing that I did was to search in google and the first website I found was backpage , I contacted " agencies " and worked incall and outcall , they use to take half of the money which I think its unfair besides low rates so   I decided to post adds in bp  , some days I rented hotel rooms and some days I did outcall , however I didnt get the calls that I wanted ( half hours and low rates) Many clients were said they will call me again .  
   
  Do most clients in NYC ask for incalls or outcalls ? Do they prefer incalls only in Manhattan ? It would be a good idea to rent a studio to do incalls ? Its seems like is hard to find an aparment to rent a place in NYC  only for 2 o 3, isn't ?  Where can I advertise and its a good idea to stay in NYC ? (I am  able to go anywhere). Any advice would be appreciated
