you've got variety and you've got the crowds... plus lots of big businesses in the area. So you'll attract the tourists and the business guys.

I've been wanting to tour NYC for quite some time but I'm just not sure where to stay. I was looking in the Central Park area but 4*star hotels are just so darn expensive! Any tips on where I should stay or other cities nearby to visit?

There are dozens of fine hotels to choose from, it's centrally located so it's both convenient for clients to visit, and for you re: shopping, restaurants, bars, and if you need transportation to get to other points of interest in the City.  Be sure to check out the hotels on the web in order to get the deal you need in terms of amenities, cost, and location.  If being within walking distance of Central Park is important to you, best you favor locales on the Upper West Side.  Best of luck!

Priceline different parts of midtown (east and west) or times square or soho area, etc see what 3.5, 4 star hotels are going for.
