I write reviews occasionally -- usually when a provider has given me an out of this world experience. Mostly I don't when my experience matches what I read. BUT I have found it to be a dilemma when my experience is below or well below what I have read, especially on well reviewed providers. Usually its more of problem with the appearance ratings not the performance ones. The problem is that the last two times I did it I got pretty nasty personal responses (and threats) back from the provider and in one case the provider got TER to take it down. I could have successfully challenged it (by sending in a copy of the emails) but I thought that maybe this would not be a good idea. After all a low review certainly can have an adverse financial impact on the provider and the provider does have all my key personal information so I am a little apprehensive to pick that fight when I have little to gain and everything to lose. I suppose the answer is to do it with an alias which is what I did for this post. It's nice to think we should all TOFTT every now and then to keep things fair and honest and also give an indirect boost to the truly hall of fame providers but ...really....at what cost? Be most interested in hearing what providers think about this.
.... due to crazy ass and sometimes incredibly entitle providers who expect an 8+ and 8+ no matter if they've done a half-assed job or not & attacking the guy even if he was honest.
If it's honest then that means it was deserved either way write it good or bad.

Write the review. I have had the same problem where I believe some providers are extremely overrated, especially appearance wise. If you want to protect your identity, just change a few minor details about how the session went, but keep enough intact to get your point across about what you did not like about the provider or session.
My first experience with a reputable provider was very disappointing. She was well-reviewed (50+) here, with glowing praise and high scores. I thought she was beautiful, but performance-wise I thought "this isn't close to the dozens of reviews I read" No DFK, no LFK, no passion, little movement. She was technically skilled, but the whole time it just felt like she was struggling to be there with me. I felt awful afterwards, as if all of these other guys had a great time but with me she was going through the motions. It feels like being rejected.
I posted about it in the newbie forum and received all kinds of answers, but I think the best advice I got was to wait. We have 3 months to post a review. So see a few more providers, and gain some experience and perspective. I've seen one more since her, and it was not what I hoped for either, but it was better. I'm not having the passionate experiences others write about in reviews, and the sex itself (but not the session) feels rushed. I decided my expectations are probably too high; it's just not going to feel like being with a caring girlfriend. I'm going to see a few more soon when I go on a trip, and after that I'll decide what to do. I'm just worried about giving a 9/7 review to someone so well-reviewed and established (based on the rules she'd only be eligible with me for a max performance score of 8 anyway).
Is it better to give a higher score but then calmly and fairly express areas of disappointment in the review itself, or is that risking her wrath too?
All of the well-reviewed provider's minions will come on here and defend her to the teeth. I did just that when I posted a so-so review of a well-known (even still) provider and revealed that the photos were fake. Apparently once a provider and her minions get into defensive mode, there is no convincing them otherwise, and they don't let facts and evidence get in the way of their conviction to clear the provider's name.
My review was taken down soon afterwards, and the only explanation I was given was that it was "inconsistent".
