I don't wear anything special, unless plans include dinner or a show, etc. Generally Dockers and a golf shirt, or in colder weather Dockers, a long sleeve golf shirt, and a pair of socks.
i had a fascinating conversaton with a few providers on this topic, which led me to a better understanding of the subtle selection process at an in-call house. while clothes do tell a lot about you, its the cleanliness that is key to your actually being "chosen" BY the provider.
the first impression you deliver is a key factor in the service you will get. as you walk in, you are being evaluated, and providers are deciding whether to give their best pitch in hopes of being your choice, or whether to turn you off, or in some cases whether to even come out to meet you at all.
It always depends on where I'm coming from. If I'm coming from work, it'll be dockers and a shirt, but if I'm coming from home, it might be something more casual like jeans. I think the most important thing is to be clean and not smell. After all, the clothes come off soon enough, but if you stink then you won't get the best service.
