I remember the days when chat was always active, with between 20 and 50 people, both men and women.  What a shame they "upgraded" the software and killed it.  :

Used to be a time when you would log into chat, and there was always a good number of members online at any given time.  Usually, there were people you knew from M&G's, past appointments, and sometimes it would lead to meetings.  Now, it's a dead feature, has been since the last major update to the site, and that's a shame.  As for messenger, no reason to use it as far as I can tell.  Hopefully, chat will be restored when they next upgrade the site...many of us miss it.
