But how do you explain to the photographer why you want to take no face photos?

I've noticed that quite a few providers have their photography done through "Aldo Antonio Photography". Is he considered the best or has he just become the default go-to guy (like everyone goes to him just because everyone goes to him)?

Just curious.

A lot of girls in this area use him.  From having seen both their work, each is good.

and a super nice guy.  Makes a photo shoot relaxing and easy.  He is formally trained in photography, not just a guy who picked up a camera, as you can see with his brilliant lighting.

I'm not sure how thorough everyone is researching professional photographers in New York, but I'm certain if you
spent more time searching you would find some really amazing photographers. New York, LA, and Florida are FULL of them. In my opinion, I would not have my photos done by any of the guys listed on this thread.

Maybe this is more of a topic for the newbie thread and can be REstarted there, but I'll ask about it here:

I assume that the major reputable photogs are very professional and trustworthy (or they wouldn't be highly recommended), but do they all use standard contracts and non-disclosure and ownership agreements?

I assume that all the ladies retain 100% of their pictures, the copyrights and that the photogs can't just sell them to Playboy or museums or some website without written permission of the ladies.  Maybe there are also clauses about protecting the digital files from hackers and thieves and any printouts from falling into the wrong hands.

Some of us remember when Miss America Vanessa Williams was forced to give up her title because she had posed for some sexy pics for a professional photographer when she was 18 that he then sold to Hustler or Playboy or some other magazine after she became famous. She had signed a contract that allowed the photog to sell or use the photos without requiring her consent so she had legal resort.

Just wondering how this is handled these days and it might also help out newbies about what to expect in a truly professional setting.

is pretty amazing.  I've seen gals whose photos were taken by him.  Bottom line, the pics are real and spot on to each gal.  It gives me a level of trust when I see his logo on a pic.

Santillo really belongs on he list of photographers whos work is excellent and we know looking at them immediately the girl is in all probability an escort  , as is the case with Church as well  as Aldo. Kendall Lynn

Every photographer out there doesn't care what you're shooting the photos for.
I work with photographers and it's funny to me how ladies feel it's important to tell the photographer
that the photos are for their escort ads/websites. Photographers truly don't care what the photos are for and will shoot whatever you want taken of you, just so long as they're getting paid. If the photographer asks what the photos are for just say they're for a boyfriend.

The problem most girls don't realize is the negative consequences of using the same exact photographer as everyone else. Every photographer has a certain style of photo editing and shooting. If the majority of providers use that same exact photographer with the typical lingerie + garter set, same basic poses, editing, etc, I can guarantee you that your photos will blend in with everyone else's on the ad sites. Your main focus is to stand out amongst the huge number of competing providers in New York. Blending in with everyone else in such a highly populated area is going to bring you very little business.

Research photographers in the area and choose one with work that catches your eye. If you're a touring provider, keep a list of photographers you'd like to shoot with from all over USA and plan a tour to that area.

Actually, it's the opposite.  Ladies need to beware of the non-professional, GWC's, losers, freaks, creeps and generally unreliable wannabe photog's who prowl the gals to take their picture.  The gals have had issues with their pics getting posted on Facebook or personal Blogs with their un-blurred pics out there for all to see.  They also need a professional who understands THEIR business, understands what's being marketed here.  There are good wedding photographers that 'do boudoir on the side' but do they really understand the escort business?  I don't think so.

Besides being a total professional, Bob doesn't count outfits, watch the
clock, or care where you shoot. Unlimited outfits, time, and any location
for $300.00! I would never change my favorite photographer!!
Enjoy!

Antonio is my photographer, shoots all my ladies and is fantastic. Professional, reliable, and fast turn around as others have said. He does awesome work, and I have worked with him for years

Scott is also awesome, I personally shot with him, and hes same professional, reliable, and fast turn around. He books up weeks in advance, so with an agency its harder to schedule him.

Bk I have used once and he was nice and professional as well.

A regular photographer will make you sign a contract stating their photos are their property and cant be used for self promotion without their authorization.  Unless, you pay an additonal fee to purchase and own them outright.  Otherwise, you pay for their services and the products agreed to sale in contract.  My first shoot was with a non escort photographer and felt guilty using her photos.  Plus you wont get the photos touched up and you are copying proofs to use.  Just my experience.  Promoting your friend - his work looks good but website would not really convince me to use him.  PS...We bring our own clothes for our shoots and we use different locations to keep our photos fresh.

I have worked with Scott a few times, and while he is an awesome photographer, I also like the fact that one will leave with a disc of photos,; ready to upload, print, etc.  He will not keep you waiting a week or two, like many do.

I know; many say he is a bit arrogant, but..........

You girls have absolutely no taste.  Every photographer listed in this thread blows.  Take some pics and then photoshop the hell out of them to make up for lack of skill -- that's the formula and it's obvious as hell.  I guess I expected people in this business to be a little more savvy about such things.

Fortunately for you all, it seems that many of your potential clients have equally crappy taste, so I guess it's a wash.

All of the above sound great in theory. One can have as many contracts, encryption clauses, etc with any of the above photographers, but at the end of the day you still have your pics with your face showing laying around one someone else's hard drive...forever.

Pay the extra money up front to own your own photos. Hire someone who is okay with giving you the memory cards after the session is done. Straight from the camera, not through their hard drive to another media outlet (you'll have to prepurchase these cards yourself), You can find the ones you like best that are cropped the way you want, and go to a separate retoucher. It's unorthodox, but one less thing to worry about 10, 20 years from now when you've moved on to whatever it is that  you're moving on to :)

It took me a small amount of extra work, but I found someone willing to do what I needed at the price I wanted.

Privacy should never be an afterthought, it should be a habit.

Edited to add: I should give all my thanks and credit to the photographer I found that was so very patient and kind and never asked any questions. He's the one that came up with the answer to my issues and made me feel like it was no big deal at all.

Completely agree, but I'm having a hard time finding a not cheese ball photographer with some actual taste / talent.

My day job is in the photography industry, so unfortunately I can't reach out to any of my favorite (non escort) photographers.

If anyone has any recommendations I am all ears for non Aldo / Scott types.

So far this is my only lead, but she seems a bit hard to pin down.
