Bumper Crop of Japanese Providers

I've been in and out of the hobby game since the mid 1980's and usually go for Asian gals.  Until roughly two years ago, real Japanese providers were quite rare in NYC in comparison to Korean and Chinese.  In fact, for years you would have Korean and Chinese gals pretending to be Japanese, particularly if they had some knowledge of the language.

Now, it seems that a number of the midtown Asian agencies have a near endless supply of Japanese ladies, many are billed as being former JAV stars.  Any ideas as to why the significant increase in Japanese ladies in NYC?

Japanese economy is doing poorly,the yen is 145 to the dollar, highest it’s ever been.visas to the US are real easy .muy student said the agent in Tokyo sets everything up, the girls are boarded real cheap in nyc.some of the ones I’ve samples are just lovely with terrific service, priced reasonable for the quality! Banzai!!

That makes total sense to me.  Thank you.  I guess that at the end of the day, every aspect about the hobby boils down to economics.
