Just a quick question for all you New Yorkers... I'm finally coming to the big apple in a few weeks time and was wondering how bad the bait n switch and upselling is there? My usual haunt is vegas and i've kinda learnt the hard way about the agencys and all the scammers there, especially backpage!  How does backpage, cv and eros in NY compare? Are they as bad as vegas? Or are there reputable girls advertising there? Appreciate any advice....

My experience is that eros is a little more real than BP or CV, probably because eros requires more effort in posting an ad and charges for posting ads. If BP and CV charge, they charge very little to post an ad.

Just like in Vegas the legit ones will end up on TER by LEGIT handles. Obviously, the scams work bc they wouldn't do it if they weren't making $$$$. I just split if it's not legit. I never ever add to the problem. My advice is to book some legit NYC TER providers or hit Times Square for some free international pusy! NOT EASY, but well worth it when you meet fun girls!! I'm sure you know the deal being from SIN CITY!

Thanks for the relpies, it sounds pretty much as i thought, if i'm going to use backpage then i better prepare for the worst! ha..  I get in middle of feb, and i'll probably be spending a lot of time in bars and clubs, so is it better to stay in times square or at the meatpacking district?  I could be totally wrong, but i checked out the mp district on google earth and it looked desolate in daytime?

is not dead during the day,though it's mostly shoppers.  There are some very high end stores there for the ladies.  Also some good hotels.  But most providers' incalls are futher uptown.  So if you want to be closer to them, Times Square or nearby is a good bet.
