Newbie here.  I understand the need for providers to verify customers, and I also understand the value of verfication sites.  It's also clear that review boards like this are terrific.  But one thing that scares me in this hobby are the opportunities for escorts (or anyone for that matter) to post anything on the so-called blacklist boards.  I just met a guy in NYC who had a minor disagreement with a local lady and she entered an exaggerated and mostly untrue post about him on a publicly available blacklist board.  I checked it out and she actually mentioned his real name and phone number on that site for all to see.
This informaiton is now available for all the world to see if someone googles his name.  And it happened because this guy had a minor quarrel with this lady!!!  What a quandary he's in.  Apparently the blacklist board only asks that a poster pay a fee and then the poster can write whatever they want to write.  Anything!!!  This is scary.  Someone could out me and ruin my name and my secrecy. It's enough to drive me away from the hobby. What can be done to these uncensored and unregulated boards that offer a wide open venue for unprincipled, mean-spirited people? How can these blacklist board be reigned in?  
How can they be made to act responsibly?  The potential for personal damage is frightening.

This might sound a bit oximoronish but-The internet really needs to be policed more. You should NOT be able to slander someone anyway you want because you don't like them. I have read things in the past and have been SWAYED because of it. I no longer take anything with a grain of salt. Any stalker can write things about someone and it's a shame that REAL assholes get buried with the number of cheap shots taken on people who just are a target of jealousy or personal vendettas or just plain old paranoia.
At this point it's up to US to go through all the BS with a lie detector. The internet has become the most useful tool for knowledge and the most deadly tool for sabotage.For those of us in the know, we just sort of try and sift through the wreckage.

Some people feel so out of control so helpless in their own lives that they use this stuff as a power tool.It's the men and the women but I have to agree that women are the worse in these situations.Just make yourself happy instead of putting all your energy into hating someone else.I usually let things go unless someone just doesn't stop. at that point you have to retaliate and round and round it goes.Unless you have zero to lose it's always best to just move on. If someone won't give up there are definitely retaliatory things that one can do, but always try the lesser of the two evils before doing them.
